Ok
I have one, @MyAussieGirl ! What's the difference between a violin and a viola? (the viola, for any who don't know, is a slightly larger version of the violin, with a slightly deeper voice, but that's not the difference we're looking for...)

Did you and your hip get to church today? And maybe you are out on the beach right now, chillin' and sunnin'? I hope so!
@zauberflöte I have trouble with yours I draw a blank because my Dad played the violin with the Detroit Symphony......he would know your answer I bet he heard them all... I wait for the strings to go around my neck with your punch line...gulp....breaks into sweat....

Serious note my dad taught me as a kid to pretty much listen to 2-3 notes and know the song. I love e flute too but fear these jokes

@MyAussieGirl
I'm lost.....how are you able to respond back to our posts on your thread, under our post?
Is that a new magic trick? :what:
Or is it the Quote button? I'm not sure how to use that

@MyAussieGirl do the emoji on our devices work? ❤️ I made a red heart and a purple one for you, I wonder if it will come through. Thinking of you in the middle of the night last night, hope it made its way to you

@gwenc hurray!

I see a little black heart @zauberflöte and ot course I went to church I bet God wanted to wack me in the noggin for not talking to hubby lol

ALERT

Ughhhhhh it just hit me all of you who have pets KEEP them in during the eclipse in the USA....if they look up and animals do....they can have retinal damage... I confirmed that with my vet

@MyAussieGirl wow great sofa!!! I so happy for you!!!! It will make getting up a breeze for your next new hip!

Really? Your dad was in Detroit?! A wonderful friend of mine is the music director there now.

Yes, dad would know answer: violas burn longer!

What do you do when two piccolos play together?................shoot one! See? Violas are not the only joke instrument.

Just seeing you back here Aussie has Made My Night!!!

Thanks @zauberflöte I love it too it's mega hard but not painful and high so yes I can get up and down easier. Hubby won't have to pick me up. I won't have to worry I won't make it to the bathroom. So much. I complained about this issue and poop issue most of my recovery lol.

Look at my age lol my dad was with the symphony back when I was no older than 5 but yes he was awesome and I use to listen to him play the violin till I fell asleep. Like classical lullabies.

Lol noooooooo more jokes these hurt my eyes :rotfl: and what's left of my brain.

Tomorrow beach :yes!:. And thank you

@MyAussieGirl my kids got so sick of me practising, they had no interest whatsoever in learning an instrument. And I was never home when they went to bed! Always at work. We played tag team parenting for many many years.

That sofa sounds ideal for what you need-- what's the pup think of it?

My Dad was always home late too but all my life I was a light sleeper... I never got tired of his playing but I was a Daddy's girl @zauberflöte

My Dad mostly took care of me when younger anyhow then mom then my siblings

Oh Zaub I have not told my mostly black dog nor my nails scratching all over the furniture cat about the new sofa... I figure they mostly the cat will trash the sofa when I'm out or sleeping but hey it's gonna help me up so yayyyyy

Hi @MyAussieGirl Hope you've had a good day so far!
What about putting a nice fluffy, comfy blanket on the new sofa so the pets don't ruin it on you.
Hope you have fun :swim: tomorrow!
No decent eclipse viewing from here tomorrow, cloudy with a chance of rain :bawl:
