I'm sorry about your slip-slide.
Thank you! I gave too much to do to rest up, but I rest it when I can. It's gone from bad to worse, everything hurts more.
I'm sorry about your slip-slide.
Are you icing? That always helps me.

On the same knee, I take it? An aspiration is usually done with a syringe and needle to draw fluid from the joint. But if he's also doing a scope, then he might do the aspiration before he starts, or drain some fluid off through the scope into a specimen bottle but I've never seen it done that day.I'm scheduled for an arthroscopy on January 4th and an aspiration? I'm not sure what that entails?
Well whatdaya know! Also it seems like it's tendinitis in the lower part of my left leg and the Bakers Cyst is indeed aggravated.

I suspect it is this Shin splints, shin pain, compartment syndrome

The recovery from the 1st revision was anything but typical, it wouldn't be a good gauge for anyone else to go by.I would like to hear more about each of your recoveries after revision surgery. How long? Easier? Harder? Feel better? Glad that you did it?
I am seeing a revision specialist too, I will be having my second appointment with him on the 13th, hoping that there will be something, anything to give me a positive direction in this.I agree with Celle, a surgeon who specializes in revisions will be best for you after so many poor outcomes.
You may want to record the appointment if the surgeon agrees, if not have him write everything down for you.
I realized at my last appointment that I sorta tune out a bit because it's always the same thing...I will pay closer attention on Tuesday though. You have been very unlucky with your knees. I think that a different surgeon, one who specialises in doing revisions, could bring you a better result.
If he will, do ask this surgeon to write things down when he is explaining.
