Tashia.....I do live in Kansas but it's the far eastern part of the state...not on the plains. We get storms, though....lots of them. This has been a really mild winter, though, so far. It's a good thing cuz the last couple have been colder and snowier. We are enjoying the break!

Have you tried a heating pad on the small of your back when you go to bed? That helps me.

Jamie, thank you for telling me about the heating pad. I'm afraid the pain is getting to me. I'm so tied of pain pills and not being able to drive. Maybe my statement is being made because I am really down today. I thought I had a ride to sewing and the person didn't show up or even call me she wasn/t going to pick me up. this has been going on since November and I/m so tired of missing my sewing. :doggieshmooze:

I'm so sorry about your "friends"....that's really rude!!! Don't write the state, city and neighborhood off just yet. Give things a chance. Once you become more mobile, things may feel more comfortable.

I agree, Tashia.....all this makes each of us a little loony until we get through recovery. We're always here to chat, though, if you need company. You know, you have friends all over the world now!!!

... The one thing I do have to remember is after the pain pills works to be careful not to do too much. Because I found I could hurt a meuscle and because I had the pills in me, I don't find out until after it wears off. ...

One of the few good reasons not to take the pills IMO.

You are so right. I made the same mistake, however I found for me it is very important for me to not to get into so much pain than when i do take them, it takes longer for them to work or they don't work at all. I guess it called balance and i have to admit I do have trouble with that one. How are you doing? Tashia :doggieshmooze:

the med did work and did go our for good sleep for over 4 hours. Not happy I need this much but I guess that is the way it goes. Tashia:doggieshmooze:

:feedback: Have anyone of you have found when you wake up from a nap or night sleep that the knee replacement leg is very stiff and very score until you message it a couple of minutes. I mean really sore and feel like it frozen. If so what have you done to make it so it stops doing it? Tashia:doggieshmooze::arghh:

My left knee feels stiff and tight after resting, I do quad sets and move around to loosen it up. Can't say that it feels frozen.

Tasia, 100% agree. And the more I did the previous day, the worse it is. But for me it's never really bad, and as you say gets better with a bit of movement. It's been like it for maybe 4 weeks now.

Aw, Tashia! I know those feelings. Had a big downer myself only last week.

Josephine, Isn't great that we do have another day, and another closer to full recovery. Got out again today and it makes all the different in the world' Didn't drive tho but who cares it was a beautiful day. Tashia:happy dance::flowerysmile:
