THR 6 weeks and feeling GOOD

@Layla I do listen to music, i just feel alone.

You are not alone in this my dear ~
Today's songs picked especially for you:

1."Blow Away" by George Harrison
2. "It's alright/it's Ok" by The Alarm
AND when I hear this song....I think of you...it got me through some really difficult times!
3. "Just One Victory" by Todd Rundgren ("hold that line baby...hold that line")!

We're ALL in this together! All I did was sleep on and off for 2 weeks straight post surgery! There are many ups and downs ~ but it does gets better with time, I promise...it's a healing process and takes patience (which none of us have)....relax & take care of yourself ~ this time is about YOU my dear!
Sending Big Big Hugs to you today ~

Good afternoon to my wonderful group, Today has so far been a very good day. After waking up I took pain meds,(I went 8 hrs without them) , I then immediately ice and lay on the couch for about an hour. My husband helped me shower. After drying my hair did my daily exercises. 5 hours after first pain pill took another then my husband and I went to the store. I stayed in the car but soooo great to see people. Pork chops cooking in the oven now and I am icing until dinner. Hope I didnt over do it. Once again thanks for all the support.:dancy::yes!:

I absoluetly love its all right. Will be listening to the music this evening. You really brighten :angel:my day

Awwwww ~
Glad you liked "It's alright It's Ok" ~ I like it too : )
I just noticed:
There are actually two different artists that sing 2 totally different songs which have this same exact title...a little surprise for me and you!

- The Alarm (a more modern song....) and
- Shirley Caesar (an amazing song that I've never heard....) how much fun is that! Wowza...see what joy you're spreading to me : )

I'm happy I can help a little ~ music is so healing and takes you to another space which is what we all need at times! Happy listening my sweet ~
Big Hugs,

I'm also having an increase in groin pain on my right side. I too hope nothing has gone wrong. I've noticed the last few days when I stand up there's a pop right below my right butt check. Feels like someone thumped the back of my leg. I'll add you to my prayers. My thoughts will be with you and hoping for less pain for us both and the rest of our group.

Just dropping by to say :hi:
Hope today feels a little brighter for you.
I think the visit with your OS tomorrow is a good thing.
Hopefully he can offer you reassurance on all that is bothering you.
Hope your night is peaceful and your dreams sweet!
Hugs to you.
@Yokesgirl

Okay my sweet....I haven't forgotten about you!
Have a little song for you today ~ it's a BIG one : )
"No Surrender" by Bruce Springsteen
I know you're soooo strong and this is a big rockin' powerful song for you ~
"No Retreat Baby....No Surrender" we're not surrendering to anything, we'll get through this for sure ~ just takes a little time : )
Hope you're feeling a bit better today ~
Sending you lots and lots and lots of positive healing vibes and big hugs ~

Went to OS today due to the increase in groin and hip pain. This was not my follow up appt. that isn't until July 19th. As I left this morning I had positive thoughts. I told my husband as I looked into our crystal clear pool which was calling my name out, I said maybe they will let me in the pool to exercise :rotfl: NOT!

Xray was fine but however they are concerned I may have slight fracture that can't show on xray. I am to only use walker, cancel my home PT and try to do nothing. If pain is still bad I have to call Monday for CT scan. Also switched my pain meds from oxycodone to Vicodin. I am so thankful for that. My husband said I was talking crazy after I took it. Doc thinks I may have been overdoing it.

Well my adorable grandson is coming to see his Mimi tomorrow and that takes away all the pain, plus my daughter will clean the house not that my hubby doesn't but no offense. Male hipster's are nothing like a woman's cleaning. Have a blessed night.

Hi...
Slight fracture? Hopefully not. Let's pray the pain subsides with rest and icing.

I'm happy to hear they switched your pain meds. Especially if your hubby said you were talking
crazy while on them. I'll bet your low mood improves also. Great news!

Have fun with your precious grandson tomorrow, Mimi. Nothing like some grandbaby love and cuddles!
I'll bet you feel better too once your daughter cleans the house. My hubs was a great caregiver but lacking big time in the cleaning dept. I had a mini meltdown one day and had my sister and mom come over and clean. Then I was..aaah, all better! :heehee:

@Layla thanks for the comment. I think us at woman have to have things perfect all the time.. I as well have had breakdown over the crumbs on the counter now I sit back and laugh. I always talk a little crazy anyhow lol. I certainetly will have a great day tomorrow pain or no pain just to see my baby. I am used to having him 3 days a week.

Slight fractures can happen but at least this would explain the groin pain. Take things very slow for now - ice and elevate as much as you can. Sending healing vibes your way!

Does any one now if worst case scenario. If I do have slight fracture, what is the treatment?

Rough night sleeping and still lots of pain but my grandson will be here in a few hours and I am smiling at just the thought. If I haven't said it lately I love my new hippie friends, you are all wonderful.

Great day to you all.:thankyou:

@Yokesgirl
You're Loved by us as well. Rest as much as you can. Will be hard to do with the grandson there but try not to over do it or you'll pay for it tonight. Send best wishes for a pain free day.

Good Morning, @Yokesgirl
Rather than have you worrying about the possibility of a slight fracture,
let's ask @Josephine to weigh in. Hopefully she can put your mind at ease.
We all learn from these type of questions and her professional opinion on all.
Enjoy the grandbaby today!

If I do have slight fracture, what is the treatment?
It very much depends upon what caused it. But for that I really need to see the xray. Can you get a copy of it?
Rough night sleeping and still lots of pain
I'd really like to offer you some structured advice but in order to do that, I also need to ask you some questions. Are you willing for me to do that?
