Bilateral THR Thing 1 and Thing2'

It has been hard deciding what to do about PT. Everyone is yes or no, no in between. Dr has control of paperwork, so have to listen to him, even if I disagree. So I will continue with PT, have the top person, who has switched her schedule to accommodate me. In 4 weeks I have to be ready to return to job 1. Job 2, will be a couple of weeks after that!

Well @Berber7227 , if she is the top person, she shouldn’t push you. Glad you went on outing with daughter. No shame in using walker if it gets you out. Hope muscle spasms have resolved. Don’t stay away o long- we Rory about you!

Muscles are better! That week straight of spasms was a nightmare! Muscles are sore from spasms! No pain! Yeah! The person I have now, was not the one who was involved with my injury! They have kept her away from me! Sometimes I do not behave!

Hi @Berber7227
Maintain a strong resolve while in PT. If you don't like it, or it hurts. I would refuse to do it.
It's nice to hear you were able to spend time with your daughter while shopping. That was a long day.
I hope you're icing and resting this evening. Wishing you a peaceful holiday weekend!
None of this :happyfeet: like SaraK..lol!

Really was interested in muscle spasms
Shame because sometimes I can spot a reason for the spasms. That was why I asked.

Actually, no you don't! You employ him, remember? If you are concerned about refusing to do therapy, you need to read this to see what your rights are Saying no to therapy - am I allowed to?

@Josephine now I understand. Sorry a bit slow lately. At this point, moving on, not enough energy to deal.

No, I can fully understand that. I do wish you'd let me leave you my questions.

I believe it was Josephine that explained to me about energy drain...likening your new hip to a suckling baby. It takes the energy from your body for healing and leaves you less. And if you use up too much, I'm guessing it depletes from healing. Make sense?
I got a major adrenaline rush immediately post-op which along with PT , eventually had me hitting a brick wall...then post op blues set in.
Your legs aren't weak, they are injured from major surgeries.
Aggravating them won't help.
I'm sorry you are struggling but I'd you listen to your body I know you will figure it what helps and what hinders.
Hope today is a Good Day.:console2:

Hi Berber,
Let's cut you some slack for a bit.
We mean well, just don't want to see you hurting like you were.

So what's new these days..Wondering how you're staying busy....Crafting anything new lately....

Hope you have a peaceful holiday weekend!
@Berber7227

I’d love to try quilting. I do very little needlework these days. No matter which glasses, bi-focal or contact lenses I use I just can’t see well enough to do anything other than knit.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 2018

Wishing you a good day @Berber7227
Hopefully you're feeling better.
Would love to see a pic of your handiwork when you're done if you feel like sharing.
Warm wishes for a peaceful relaxing week!

Went to Olive Garden, while shopping with daughter, had their Chicken gnocchi soup. Will try to replicate today, with new copper pot from Xmas!! Maybe make bread sticks! Just adding to the weight I have gained!
