Bilateral THR Thing 1 and Thing2'

How fun! @Berber7227 whipping up stuff in your shiny new pot!
I hope it turns out well OR that you like your version even better.
Breadsticks sound like a great addition to the soup!
There's always tomorrow to begin eating like a rabbit :heehee:

Have a Happy New Year. I've enjoyed watching your recovery and marveled at your strength and spunk! Be good (or at least have fun being bad) tonight and let's hope for 2018 to continue our positive life transformations!

:hi: Hope the soup turned out and you didn't burn the breadsticks :heehee:
Wishing you a great first week of 2018 @Berber7227
Warm wishes the new year brings you health happiness and lots of love :loveshwr:

Hey @Berber7237
Hope you're feeling well.
Are these Hershey Kisses?
Warm wishes for a great week!

Maybe she’s talking about the special chocolate covered cherries she made for her brother ...that would be a @Berber7227 thing :heehee:

Never tried one. I'll have to hunt them down. I'm sure it won't be hard.
They'll be everywhere if they're seasonal
Enjoy your evening @Berber7227

@MammaT I stock up the day after Valentine's day!! Daughter does the same! Bribes me with them all summer!!

@Berber7227 - it's no fair that you're taking about chocolate as I'm sitting here eating rabbit food! I haven't been able to convince my doc that eating chocolate is getting a serving of vegetables - even though it does come from a bean!

Hey my bilateral pal.
Chocolate heals all, I think!
Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, hot chocolate, ...
Hope you have been doing well. Hope I haven't made you feel you aren't able to discuss your recovery struggles because I worried for you doing too much too soon. Your thread is your story. All recoveries vary.
My comments come only from a desire to share what worked for me, and the discoveries I made along my journey about PT, post op blues, etc...
I sincerely hope all is getting better day by day.
We all learn from our personal journeys and yours has been amazing..hope today is a Good Day:angel:

Feeling better. Going through the no sleep phase! Legs are slowly getting better. Back to the, all clothes hurt stage! Just like the day after surgery! Interesting call from company that deals with short term disability at work! My leave has been extended, the Dr says I will return to work Feb 19, and they will need paperwork from Feb appointment. I have not heard from Dr, and do not have a Feb appointment???
Spent yesterday tossing favorite shoes! So sad!

I hope they don't have two files mixed up - getting extra time without having to argue for it is great! Maybe just need a release form from the doctor in February which doctor might be able to do without an appointment?

Are you preparing for the Nor'easter? How much snow are they predicting for your area?

@SaraK I heard we were getting 8" of snow. Snow is okay! This past week was frigid. At least it will be over 20° for a few days.

8" is enough to close schools and cause a run on eggs, milk and bread around here (actually, a forecast of flurries is enough to cause the run on the grocery store). I'd much rather the frigid weather than have to drive with all of the crazies after any substantial snow here!

Just stay inside and stay safe! There's no need for you to go out and shovel your walk and your drive - yes, I can tell you were already planning to do that!
