Thanks everyone for your messages!

My knee is doing really well, no pain meds needed for the most part! Ice and elevation do the trick and resting it when I feel it getting tight.

First physio tomorrow, not sure what the benefit will be so it may be the one and only physio appointment?
Staples out on Wednesday, I hate, hate, hate that part! I know its a necessary part but I still don't have to like it!

Again, thanks for all the welcomed comments, I appreciate them.
T.

Happy to hear you are doing well!! Grin and Bear It, your staples will be out in no time.
Be sure the PT does nothing to irritate your knee, it is doing good, lets keep it that way.

@Pumpkln
I've been taking a totally different approach this time around...last October when I had the 1st revision I didn't give it the proper care with everything that happened. This time I'm stretching it not exercising it, taking a short walks each day starting yesterday. it feels so much better doing it this way.
Wish there was a way to avoid the staples though...lol!

@newlybionic
Glue! They could've used glue!
Seriously, the removal of the staples give me so much anxiety. If it were suggested I could get a general anaesthetic to get them removed, I would be all over that without hesitation! LOL

The first time my not so good OS put in staples and glued over them. That experience was delightful! ( not)

Staple removal day is tomorrow...I'm so anxious today thinking about it, some people have a needle phobia, I have an "anything after surgery to do with the incision" phobia

I had the first physio appointment yesterday, as the therapist did was ask some questions and measure the ROM, which is good, 100 flexion and 0 extension. I haven't been doing the exercises just the stretches...I have been taking a walk each day not that far but a little further each time.

I have been having a little trouble with an area near the bottom of the femur, I'm thinking it is the quad, I haven't had the quad cut before if that is even a thing? Its the only place I have anything hurting...

Try to time your pain meds so you have some on board before your staple removal.
I uh am very bad...I haven't been taking any pain meds because I am home alone with two kids, ice and rest have been my best friends...I am going to have to grin and bear it tomorrow me thinks!

The staples are out, thank goodness! I'm so happy to be done with this part of it. A few hours after I had my last staples out last October, my husband passed away, so this was playing on my mind too!
