Nice, show us your pictures. I love the snow.

Oh, BTW, our resort opened today, but my daughter and I cannot go up to teach yet because she has to take SATs tomorrow.

When will you be going back to teach? Next weekend? I wanna go too...:beg: ! I am trying to figure out how to put a couple of pictures on here....

My one son is up there today for his first day ever as a snowboard instructor. We will head up tomorrow and get our lift passes and report in to ski school. We will probably be teaching next weekend.

I so want to go skiing this year...not advisable yet though me thinks, I am only 5 1/2 weeks post op with the 2nd one..lol (but it feels better than the first one)! :umm:

Hi! Tessa! I see you got your second PKR the same day my hubby had his first TKR. I'm really glad to hear that it is better this time around. Know you'll be glad down the road that both are done. Too bad about skiing this year---but watch out folks, next year will be an entirely different story.

Do try to put your pictures up---I love snow too as long as it's in pictures.:heehee: Take care Tessa.

I love snow and I am in the wrong part of the country to see much of it! One crazy winter when I went to see my sister in San Antonio, a little town about 20 miles north of San Antonio had snow. It was the first time they had snow! It was so cute to see the pictures on TV talking about the "white stuff." Of course, if my hubby accepts the position in Tulsa, I won't have to worry about not seeing snow anymore.:happydance:

Just,:rotfl: your educational tutoring is exceptional! Who would have known I didn't know what snow looked like!:heehee:
Besides you of course!:giggle:

Hang in there Tessa, Next year will be a good ski year for you. You will have two fully recovered knees and plenty of time to build up all the muscles that you will need to strengthen for it.

Why thank you Sonja, good to know all my years at university didn't go to waste....not that I trained to be a tutor of course...:rotfl:

Thanks Judy! I didn't realize I had the second one the same day as your husband had his 1st..hope he is doing really well, I was reading of the challenges he was facing before even having his knees replaced.

There is some concern of hardware failure in the pkr but I am not going to worry about it until there is a time to worry, going back Jan. 04 to see the OS again.

I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to getting back to my active lifestyle...this couch potato stuff is for the birds...lol!

A few pictures from my walk to the bus stop a couple of mornings ago!

Brrrrrrrrr! BEAUTIFUL pictures. Just the way I like snow the best---I love seeing it come down and look so scenic---but after a couple of days, I just want it to melt and go away---which is pretty much how it is around here if it snows at all.

Beautiful pictures Tessa! I love the snow, and we don't get near enough here in DC for me. I also love your name! A number of years ago I bread my Dutch warmblood mare and the filly she had I named Tessa. She was a beautiful, wonderful, sweet mare. :)

Tessa,
Great pictures. I love snow but now that we are in Georgia, from Ohio, don't see much anymore. I love when it has just fallen and no one has disturbed it yet, it is so pretty.

I like it of there is enough of it, I just don't care for the wind and the cold that comes along with it a lot of the time. Suppose to rain here tomorrow and be warmer for the rest of the week so it will be bye bye snow....

So funny how others like your name and often you don't! I never really cared for my name...but to call me any other would seem wrong somehow! :heehee:
