1. Saw head of pt 2 days ago I can begin to ease the restrictions
2. Today I managed to put on my sock shoe do laces without any contraptions....hurrah
3. I am using one stick outside as I limp a little after around 10 minutes
4..I am going to the gym 3 times and can do most machines with light weights
5. The op leg maybe slightly longer hard to tell until iam walking more normally
6. Stem migration is where the stem moves as a result of various forces of movement its quite common in the first few months we are talking fractional amounts then the stem fully fixates....in rare cases the stem can paid fully loosen which will need attending....I had a hooded stem which is supposed to minimise this issue

8. I am hoping to extend my sick leave until end of may when most of the students have left
9.there is no pain in the hip although I can sense its there....while the knee is better although everything still stiffens up after resting and usually by 9pm I need to lay down
10. Sleeping has improved but waking up around 5 am but I do then doze off again
