Interesting thread, funny about the plums...had I read while the topic we hot I would have recommended Gerbers baby food plums, fresh and like pudding...easy ready to serve in individual jars, perfect size to add to your regular meals....works like a gem.

Sounds like your recovery is going very well....happy for ya! Peace

Dear special lady....can you please tell us about paradise island is your PIC from there?

clifford149 glad to hear you're enjoying your plums, despite all of our babble about it. I was afraid that we may have scared you off, what with all of the female attention you've been getting...LOL

special lady Never really considered Gerber baby food plums. I bet they're delish. Yes, please tell us about Paradise Island. The picture is so beautiful.

Wow Poppet is a secret guzzler...... As you are reminiscing there is a great TV series on at the moment called "the village" full of youthful memories. Admittedly before our times (1914 onwards).....

A great series but so depressing

clifford149 & ByGosh

The photo is of one of the islands that is about 35 miles from where I live, there's a lot of islands within boating distance. They're all just as beautiful as the the next too. You can google Eleuthera which is one of my favorites. Due to confidentiality, I don't want to post exactly where I live, but I'll tell you it is where the water is crystal clear blue water, and there are many islands off the shore where I live, even where I live we can easily get to an island by boat. Which makes this staying home recovering pretty darn difficult, as I'd much rather be on one of the islands.

@Teacat
Moved to the area when I was three, but it was further south. Now I'm just a little further north, and yes it is beautiful. I don't think I could live any where else, there are areas where I live that some wouldn't want to live, but along the shore to me there is no place better.

clifford149 so, you only give that long-sought-after tin of plums a "chipped dish" rating?? Plums, tinned or otherwise, come with ratings, you know! and "chipped dish" is next-to-lowest! Surely they rate at least a "Fiestaware deep dish"??

Hmmmmmmm.... qu'est ce que c'est ça??:skep: [Bonesmart.org] op/post op since 13 march Hmmmmmm.... what do you suppose that is, anyway? Can't be a tinned plum, ZF is not even thinking about those until June 21 or so......:whistle:

zauberflöte Okay, I guess it's an old fashioned metal basin covered with white enamel, like we used to have years ago, with a plum in it! How's that? :heehee:

ByGosh well, you're right about it being a container with something in it!! Did you click on the thumbnail to look at the larger size pic? You might change your mind after that....

zauberflöte Looks very much like a cooked plum to me. Hmmmmm--intriguing, to say the least. Now you've invented a new game - picture guessing! May even rival our Land of Limericks...! :)
