I'm so glad things are starting to work out for you and that you can get into the pain clinic earlier. What a way to spend your 40th, but the one bright light in it all is that your hip is replaced and you don't have to wait 3 more months.

Take care and when you are up to it let me know and we'll chat. I'm home from this point on till surgery on Tuesday so we'll be able to chat a little bit afterwards.

things very bad can't keep anything down via mouth or tummy - very sick - dr said as long as urinating to not go back to er...please pray for me...

Hi Linda,

So sorry you are feeling so sick. I was having a lot of nausea and I was given Zofran when I left the hospital. It dissolves on your tongue and seems to kick in fairly quickly. I hope you start feeling better soon.

See if they can prescribe you Phenergan suppositories. They will make you sleep a lot, but that's not a bad thing.

I cant take zofran - gives me migraines - been taking phenergan since last week - i get this type of "bug" several times a year (last being in april) and get it for DAYS even WEEKS - one time 18 days - had all sorts of tests done and nothing ever proves conclusive - just massive amounts of dirreaha and vomiting....had the dirreaha since last Fri and the vomiting/nausea on/off since then too...
