Thx for asking - I am doing better tho it still hurts - I've accepted that I'm not going to b where I was before it happened for Disney vacation but where I'm at will have to b good enough. It just worries me b/c I didn't do anything to set it off and will b putting it thru so much more during the 9 hour car ride, sleeping on a strange bed for a week and going to the parks...
Now I'm dealing w/ a terrible rash that is quickly spreading all over my body. Dr. is calling it contact dermatitis or allergic rash - gave me a steroid medrol dose pack to take and Elicon cream to use. I have also been taking benadryl, atarax and zyrtec but I'm pretty miserable itching and some burning :( Dr. said sun will exacerbate it and its going to b very hot in FL so not sure what I'm going to do...

Oh hun I'm sorry you are going through this :( When do you go to Florida?
As you know we went last June and it was really tough on me but we went to guest services and got disability passes this entitled us to jump queues in the parks or come back at an allocated time they were so useful and really helped we also used a wheelchair on some days I know not so easy with the boys and had rest days to.

Hi Linda,
Commiserations re your allergic reaction! I'm having the same at the moment!!
My GP agreed with me that it might be due to a reaction to Codeine which I'd substituted for my med of choice ( Tramadol) as I'd run out.
I'm just taking Zirtec which seems to be relieving the itchiness (hateful) but it's still pretty horrible.
So hands and heart across the Ocean for us Itchers, try to keep cool both physically and metaphorically I'm with you!!
