Good Morning everyone. Well, I guess with her being so upset yesterday, she forgot to tall me she was going home! Yup, she was released at about 4:45 in the afternoon. Not a happy camper and feels like she was betrayed...
They cut her back to 1/2 of the meds she was being given, and the amount they sent her home with will last about 3 days, not the 2 weeks as they have them prescribed. The pain clinic docs have said they will keep her medicated so we shall see.
She's still very upset, but not crying, more angry now, but at least she did get some sleep last night at home. I'll keep posting for her as she wants to get caught up and a little less foggy and then I'm sure she'll be telling the rest of her tale of woe.
I've sent all the messages and she is very greatful for everyone's care and support. It will be hard, as she did have the rod removed as well, but she'll do it. She's a fighter. Thanks everyone.
Oh! I forgot to mention that she thinks she has the flu on top of everything else. I won't get into graphic details, but I guess her tummy is VERY sick, bad cramping and ALL the other lovely symptoms.
Just what she needs trying to run with a new hip ! More later...
