Well, sorry guys, went away to complete the move. It makes me feel some better that you guys cannot imagine moving in the first year after a knee replacement. The move is done but I still struggle. I will lift something heavy and it does not hurt but then I PAY for it for a good week. I am going to learn one of these days.
I am so happy the move is over and I will just unpack at my own speed. I am 11 months now and still have that pain right below my knee, that band. I use some compound cream that my doc gave me, but is there nothing else to help? Are there any exercises that help that? My ROM is 135 and has always been good, but I cannot get rid of that nerve pain and as Skyelark says, my knee is some wobbly at times. I still one foot steps and that is frustrating.
I can do it if I have two rails but that is rare.
So I keep plugging on and hope that sometime, it really will get better. My doc says it will.
Now that I have moved, I think I will get a second opinion though, I need one here anyway as the other knee will have to go eventually.
Thanks for all the discussion and let's keep on talking. Your support is important!
