Housewife maybe.... Simple I doubt! Maybe I should ask your hubbie. I too did too much. We had to put up corn because we have gotten thunderstorms every afternoon so my sister figured it filled out quicker than we thought.
We broke off 100 ears at a time, my BIL and husband shucked and threw into a little baby pool to soak off. I was the silter. I sat my lawn chair in the pool and used a brush to clean them. It was 103F with heat index yesterday!
But we started the day with red white and blue pancakes and I did get to float in the pond some..:smile2:

@MyAussieGirl you sound wonderful. I can't remember the last time I been to the beach and now I'm restricted 3 months from the pool or anything. This is another thing I will be able to do in the near future. I hope you have a good day. Cheryl

Lol @Mojo333 um that is too much and too hot ya loon lol. You will be happy for it come winter. I crab when I have to do 24 ... I love corn but it's not good for you.

My hubby would tell you I am a lunatic lol no kidding .

@cpollock you'll get to the pool or beach just not this year but in the winter your leg will be well and you can enjoy the indoor pools.

Hey all sorry to be MIA been to the beach 3 days in a row now... . I am behind in here and can't find some people's threads then lol I've also been..... Washing my deck and today my first walk with my newish dog in picture lol OMG he is PT Grande ...when I have the other hip done he will be taught to um walk better lol

I am wondering is it expected or even semi normal 3-4 months after surgery to wake up a lot at night like every 2 to 3 hrs no pain most of the time just up...may as well potty or must potty then back to sleep?????? I am going crazier with this. Could it be stopping Percocet though I never took much. ??? I've been on 1 pill when I wake the first time.... I am ready to go down to 1/2 ANYONE???
Editing to add I know it's normal that's in all the information on this site but I don't know at what point is it not.....like it's too long. Thanks

@MyAussieGirl Mmm - strawberry pie sounds great!! You sure are keeping very busy these days washing the deck, making pie, going on walks with the dog, going to the beach, etc. I can't even imagine what you will be doing after your next surgery! Maybe doing kickboxing competitions?? Just kidding of course but trying to show how far you have come from just a couple months ago! Great job!

BTW, I remember you said something about your hospital bill once. If your insurance doesn't cover all of it, you should definitely talk to the billing office because very often they can knock off some of the $$ due and make the bill a bit less. You just need to explain your situation, etc. and ask them what they can do to help you. It is definitely worth a try. You can do as easy with doctors office. Don't talk to the dr but instead talk to the billing office about it. I think you may very well find some help there.

And on your way to the beach, watch for any yard sales sling the way to see if they have a couch or chair. Maybe they could deliver it or maybe someone from church has a truck and could pick it up for you. Gotta keep thinking about that as fall will be here

Billing ugh.... I did talk with them they didn't take anything off BUT did say I could be pay $25.00 a month till oh forever Thank you!

Now the newest issue will be IF I can get my OS to use the surgery privileges till December..... what I owe monthly will not go up
However if he wants me at his other hospital I will be starting all over I am praying he will do it here.

I am shooting for a new sofa . I am loling as I know you'll want to bean me but how will I know where the other sofa was bugs, fleas etc. If that doesn't work out well I will then look on my way to enjoy a great swim.

I am trying hard to keep busy as I know semi soon... I will be at week one of LTH

@MyAussieGirl I'm sorry you have issues with billing etc... that's where I'm fortunate here, Alberta Health care pays the whole surgery and hospital stay. Plus weekly physio too til august 8th. I also have extended health care through my job that pays my pills and things. It's enough to have to go through recovery without all that hanging over your head too. Also good luck finding a sofa, it would make your recovery easier, especially with another surgery coming Up? What day is that Again?

@cpollock Hugs and thank you. Yes it's a bit stressful adding all the bills in. Um to say the least lol.... Thanks on the sofa too hubby just said a hour ago the weather looks crummy so we will start looking then he said I hope lol. I think it will help us both be out I broke all the rules on this sofa it's low and squishy. I also may not have mentioned but hubby has a hernia so picking be me up is VERY hard on him. I hope we can find one semi cheap .

I haven't made my date for surgery yet.... I am dragging my heels contacting the doctor to see if he will do it at this hospital...he did the other side but I don't know what happened. He cut ties with them... but...has privledges so he can do it till December 31 but...will he? I hope to find out this week Gulp!
