Second TKR scheduled for 10/4 with the same surgeon who did my THR (4/26/2013) and the first TKR (5/10/17).

Feel free post your surgery date in this thread, and I will add you to the list. Start a thread of your own in the Pre-Op Knee Section to post comments and share your journey toward knee replacement. Here's the link that gives you the instructions you need to do this: Starting a new thread and posting

To start a new thread, hover your mouse over "Knee" on the blue line at the top of the page for the drop down menu. Click on either the "Pre Op" forum. On the upper right hand side under the "Joint Replacement Awareness Day" banner, you will see a black rectangle with the words "Post New Thread" in white. Click on this, enter whatever title you want for your thread, but do try to keep it short and sweet, then tab down to the dialogue box and start typing your post which can be as long as you need for it to be. By starting your own thread, you and your questions and concerns will receive the attention they deserve.

Thank you @bottomshollow!! My surgery date is actually October 16 - when you have the chance please update the listing. I have so much to do even before that date, good golly! So much preparation!

Has anyone else purchased an elevation pillow/wedge? I am wondering what size to get.

while recovering from a RTKR my left knee has given out and will be replaced on 10/12

while i've been recovering from a RTKR my left knee has become worse and i'm scheduled to have my left knee replaced on 10/12

I’m having my second TKR on October 29, left knee. The RTKR was June 11. At least this time I will have a solid knee to stand on while the left is healing. Hope it go’s better, at least I know what to expect.

Scheduled for my right TKR on October 16th at 7:30 am...no waiting around! Had my left knee done June 26, 2018. More than a little nervous to have both legs sore.
