Hi.. my advice would be take it easy dont rush to get rid of your crutch... i had 6 weeks driving restriction.. when travelling as a passenger in a car i found sitting on a good thick cushion helped .. for what it's worth my doctor told me not to use public bus for at least 6 weeks as he had...

My os gave me the go ahead to drive at 6 weeks post op check up. Drove that day manual gears no problems. Try take one day at a time. You will be up and about in no time. T

@Gretel. Try not stress about it. Rest, up your water intake and eat little and often. Post bilateral my BP and blood count was way down and I had a few of those dizzy spells 3/4 weeks out. In fact last one must have been 6 week's plus out as I had driven my husband to hospital appt. Leaving...
