Bilateral THR Grateful Double Hippy

I know. It will get better. I usually enjoy the change of the seasons. It's happened really quickly this year. One day it's warm the next it's freezing.
 
I really am grateful for Southeast US weather...Except for the occasional hurricanes and tornadoes:shocked:.
My brother lives near Seattle and has tried to seduce me to move near him.
Everywhere has its own unique beauty, but way too rainy and too much winter.
I'm one of the few people I know who actually love the super hot muggy weather...only wish I could get a little closer to the coast.
Marshlands and stink mud and salt water make me happy.

I imagine Seattle has pretty much the same climate as here, way to damp and chilly for you.

Thanks @hoppy Mary . I'm expecting all to go well but do have some back concerns to quiz him about. Also, really hope he does X-rays. Will just confirm all is well...glad to see you spreading some safe advice and your experience to the newbies. That is what made all the difference to me during my recovery.

I'm sure all is well as it sounds like you've been doing great. I didn't get to see OS at my 6 month visit - just the PA which was fine as I had no questions. We will all be waiting for your report!
 
Saw the OS. Took X-ray's, Yay! Said bone forming just fine...said hips were almost perfectly symmetrical...so if I went to chiropractor to check on sacrum issue or want to see if it would help with lower back issue, was fine by him. Not sure want to do that or not...
Shared some bonesmart philosophies with him and told him glad he didn't push the PT. Showed him Josephine's creds and shared some of the old prostheses pics she shared with me. He seemed truly impressed. Told him his skill and Bonesmart were directly responsible for my successful ongoing recovery! Apparently he is a proponent of the AMIS approach (anterior minimally invasive surgery) and has lectured and will be teaching it and uses Medacta prostheses...which doesn't mean alot to me but will google later.
Will see me on one year anniversary date. I'm over the moon at how well he thinks all is going.

Not sure that card will work! Perhaps it may on internal US flights. I've travelled from Ireland several times now to the UK, Mainland Europe and the US and get frisked almost every time! I set of the metal detector due to my screws and once I say I've a hip replacement it's usually the full pat down. I just accept it now...

I'm happy for you! I saw a chiropractor pre-surgery and the thought of doing it
post surgery scares me. Just don't feel like I'd want him jacking me around like that....yikes!
Possibly with the confirmation all is well your other aches may ease up. Stress magnifies everything it seems.
