Bilateral THR Thing 1 and Thing2'

Hey @Berber7227 .
You CAN give it a break sometimes..you won't NOT get up.
You are doing so well...so don't let that post-op adrenaline rush cause you to overdo.
Your body has been through it...I hit a wall after doing really well, I thought, for the first 3-4 weeks.
Not wanting to sound like a downer...just worrying about our new bilateral wonder.:dancy::dancy:

Another first! Slept with my legs straight last night!! My muscles are really messed up. This has been my goal for the last two weeks. When I saw my surgeon in recovery, he asked how I was. I said, my legs are straight!! Next step....

Take it slow @Berber7227
You're doing great! Hope you have a wonderful day.
I think today is the day you leave mom's for home, until Monday?

Keep in touch

Three years ago, I sent six months in bed with mono. Slow and steady. Also learned, overdoing, every now and then, usually because you cannot take being down anymore, in the long run, helps me mentally.

Wow @Berber7227
That was a long recovery. I can only imagine how stir crazy you felt during that recuperation.
I'm sure you'll enjoy your mini vacay and love you're own bed, just be careful.
We don't want any of this :sos:

Knock, knock....
You okay?
We know you went home from mom's today so you better say Boo once in awhile, or we'll be concerned.
Hoping your happy at home, snug as a bug in a rug, in your own bed!
@Berber7227

Hope today is a Good Day...yes ma'am. We do have or mental health to keep in line...
Never want to sound discouraging...just everyone cares very much about your recovery AND we have all done too much....
You are so early out but doing incredibly well.:) :-) (:

:hi:
Great news! I'm happy for you.
I hope you enjoy your time at home.
Wishing you a great weekend :) @Berber7227

Having internet problem. So instead of binge watching TV, I will have to find something else to do! Hope to make a big dent in show quilt!! Need to call library for a delivery!! Wrap gifts!! If I can con someone to go in the attic, maybe put up a tree. Have not had a tree up for at least 4 years. Would love to half, my decorations! One of the few areas left to hoe out before moving? Never bored!

You do not sit still well....do you?
Please whatever you do don't get any ideas about that attic :no-fin:
Quilting, reading or gift wrapping doesn't sound bad but I can't see you decorating a tree unless it's just a small tabletop height. I can see why your mom wants you around, someone needs to keep an eye on you.
We're watching you......BEHAVE YOURSELF.
@Berber7227

@Layla, spent to much money and time on hips to mess them up now! Keeping busy, keeps me from feeling sorry for myself! The last few years have been rough! New hips was my rock bottom!! I am on my way up, up, up.........

I hear you, I just get a kick out of teasing you.....you're funny :heehee:
I think you're doing great, really I do. You're recovery seems to be coming along splendidly.
You are on your way UP.....no doubt in my mind. Enjoy!
It will be a nice Christmas this year :santaclap: :box::reindeer: :reindeersleigh

@Gretel have a sleep number bed. Found a spot that was soft enough to sleep on my side!
@Layla holidays are not high on my list of fun. Do it because it is expected, not fun. Told everyone last year, it was last time I celebrated. But ended up getting gifts again this year. Only have to buy for four people, one dog, four cats!

Well, maybe since you are not in chronic pain you will enjoy the holiday spirit. I put my tree up for Thanksgiving, and after cleaning house this weekend, am putting on more decorations. Glad you are getting sleep. Don't join the over doers club!
