Bilateral THR Thing 1 and Thing2'

Boredom can drive us insane! Agree with the needing the break point. I did a lot of walking around the house. I will say, it seemed my house was longer while I was recuperating! Personally, I would wait on treadmill. Do you own one or do you need to shop for one? I have used my mom's old recumbent bike and find that seems to work well for me now. In fact, I am thinking of getting a new one prior to my next surgery so I can use it when I am ready. Treadmill was so painful before my replacement, I have a hard time looking at one. (ps--I lived in Maine for a few years in my youth--totally get what you mean about outside not being friendly!)

Hahaha! You crack me up. Sounds like Alice in Wonderland.
Thursday will be here in the blink of an eye.
Hang tight :whistle:

well @Berber7227 - you are sounding so incredibly normal! Just wait until you look at some things (like walk from car to store) and think "it looks so far away!"

Wishing you a great day. Try to get through another few days.
Have you noticed that hip pain is gone even worth all the other pains?
That was what reminded me all the other was temporary!
Hope you have a Good Day.
Be nice to mama, she is just trying to help.:nah:

Need info for a friend! I searched but could not find the info. Someplace, there was info on reducing bruising, I think it was witch hazel on a cloth??????

Compression socks off yourself, at less than two weeks out......Impressive!
Never heard of the Witch Hazel biz......interesting...I'll stay tuned.
Wishing you a great day @Berber7227

I think I found what you may have read about Witch Hazel
Go to the header under "Library"
Then to General Topics where you'll find an alphabetical list
There you'll find "Bruising After Surgery"
Lots of colorful (gag) pictures to peruse before the Witch Hazel tip at the bottom.
@Berber7227

@Berber7227 Arnica gel also helps with bruising. However some of what looks like a bruise after surgery is actually just blood seepage from the surgery and it will be reabsorbed fairly quickly all by itself.

A friend of ours fell. Face first. I figure could not hurt to try!! Thanks for help!

Wow, wonderful first outing. I'll bet you're tired...
Don't forget to ice after all of that excitement.
Wishing you a relaxing evening!
@Berber7227

This was outing 3! Mom doesn't let much slow her down!!! We were out the Saturday after Thanksgiving!!!

That was brave....or crazy....can't make up my mind.
You were only 9 days post op, bilateral replacement!
You are one courageous soul @Berber7227

At Vermont Country Store we sell it mostly as a lotion! Have seen it in many forms!
