@Hdold has your OS told you that the stockings are necessary? My OS does not use them - boy was I happy about that I am constantly amazed that there are so many different protocols used for the same surgery.

Hiya - my consultant has told me I have to wear the stockings for 6 weeks - day and night! Gutted haha x

Hi everyone. Just got the call from the hospital have to be there for 5.45am. No big deal I'm sure I will not sleep much tonight.

I want to thank everyone for your kind wishes……I am so glad I found this forum…….helped me so much… not only with information but the comradeships we have formed.
