Preparing our Christmas dinner, dead bird in oven, stuffing made, gravy made, veg prepped. Just putting blankets round the pigs. Absolutely cream crackered! Looking forward to a nice Southern Comfort, ginger and splash of lime..... can almost taste it. Sun isn't over the yard arm yet so I have to wait.
I'm so excited, you'd think I was expecting Santa!

Have the Christmas you all deserve, my fellow Warriors. X

Pugfugly oh, no, I want much better than I deserve:egypdance:I hope Christmas in the Bexleyheath home in the Shire is a wonderful time:gbhse:

darn! They were my cute boots, and I wore them to a Christmas play.

I love cute boots. I can't wait to dig mine out again. I must have almost a dozen pair of boots.

Did you enjoy the Christmas party? Did you do a lot of standing in them?

Pug, is cream crackered code for being tipsy? If so, what an interesting expression.

Hope all have a wonderful Christmas.

Tammy

Hey warrior girls... Now see what you have done.. I am craving some ginger wine...

What will I do about my diet? with all your talk of food.. Lol

:merrychr:to all my BoneSmart buddies. AmBlocker and oldyellr you guys are especially in my thoughts today, wishing you both speedy recoveries.

So sorry, it's rhyming slang for knackered, as in tired. I forgot that as I'm from London you probably don't use rhyming slang.

Listening to Bing Crosby and singing along, having a little tipple and waiting for family to arrive for dinner. :happydance:

Merry Christmas!

Sissy hoping your Christmas paddle is full of joy and nature. Looks like it's warmed up a litle more for you in the upper 60's which should be perfect paddling weather. Merry Christmas! :chrisglitter:

Rain, rain and more rain yesterday...

Boxing Day here it is wet, but the sunrise is brilliant 5:42 am.. Just saw a family of Wallabies nibbling at our long grass in the paddock.. A Pelican wandering around the oyster bed, just meters from our block, and jumping fish everywhere.. Has to be a big manta ray hanging around, water too dark for me to see yet..

It is nice NW weather, about to go for a quick walk along the ocean.. sissy46 dede62 darn! bellaroma and all my other lovely warriors hope you have had a lovely Christmas day xxx

Thanks, Poppet. Enjoy your gorgeous weather (sans rain) and all of the lovely surroundings! Take some in for all of us that are coveting a trip there right about now! Sissy, can we really compete with wallabies? I know you'll give it a good shot! Poppet we want pictures please! :beg:

Thank you. I am having a hard time recovering but merry Christmas!

Thank you! I was feeling really great about a perfect all day Christmas paddle with my big brother on my favorite creek, and seeing deer, otters, turkeys, kingfishers, ibises, herons, egrets, dragonflies, hawks, etc. and then I see that Poppet has wallabies in her paddock!! No, no one can top that! Pictures, please:yay:

I hope all of my warrior buddies have had a wonderful Christmas.

It is amazing how much we can come to care about folks we've never met in person, isn't it? So glad that John oldyellr is doing better and that Aaron got home for Christmas, too.
:xmascandle:

We went for a 3km NW along the ocean path, early morning beach fisherman casting for salmon, chatted to several surfers who said the water was perfect 21 degrees C.. As we walked, it seemed like the sea eagle was following us along the water line, suddenly swooping for a breakfast treat.. The surf was perfect, gentle rolling curls.. Still a little too cool for me though..

Then breakfast at one of our fav beachside cafes.. right on the surf beach.. Coffee... watching the sun coming out, finally the cloud is clearing.. life doesn't get much better than this..

What am I saying? .... Yes it will Sept 2014 when we can do this every morning... Sigh!!

p.s. our family of wallabies are too quick to photo, they detect our movement.. sorry warrior girls :)

Oh! I just love your pics! Again they are just fantastic---but being there and seeing all these in real time has to be just fabulous!

Poppet, you'll have to work on your stealth ninja warrior skills to catch a pic of those wallabies! Who's our srealth ninja expert???? Lessons for Poppet!! Picture stealth goes to Sissy and Beth I think!
