@Celle There are no weights involved just different leg lifts and things like that...

At this point I need to do something but I am going to take care to not do any harm or anymore harm to my knee. My quad becomes fatigued very quickly so I need to do something about this...

That's OK then. Just remember that serious strengthening shouldn't begin for at least 3 months. Take it easy!

The bump at the top of my scar is back and it's sore again! It was almost completely gone but showed up again today....I am wondering if it may be a stitch?

The knee is coming along, a few small issues but nothing too serious...Physio has been going well nothing too strenuous, if it hurts I don't do it, the physiotherapist I have seems to be well versed in the bonesmart way!

It could be a stitch, what does the PT say? You are seeing the OS soon as I recall.

@Pumpkln

It only got swollen again this afternoon, I had physio this morning so the PT hasn't seen it like this. I won't have physio again until Monday. I go back to see the OS on December 21st.

In the grand scheme of things this bump really isn't an issue, it will get better as will my knee given enough time!

I agree, patience is one of the hardest parts of TKR and revision recovery. You already have more than a person should have to deal with, and on top of that a challenging recovery. :friends:

@Pumpkln Thank you!

I really don't have much patience with recovery but it's like, you know what, there are worst things that a person could have, this isn't so bad! Sure it can be a challenge at times but it will eventually heal then you are left with something better than you had!

You do have to keep the long view in mind, because the short term is challenging. :elevate: but you want to be, :fasthorse::walking::tennis2:

Just looking for a couple of thoughts on this? About 3-4 inches below the bottom of my scar I have been bruising, it's very sore to touch, I haven't banged on anything but it continues to bruise there. It aches at times and icing it doesn't work...! Wondering if this can be any way related to the revision!

Sounds like it is the stem in your tibia causing the soreness, not sure what is causing your bruising. I am going to tag @Josephine for her opinion.

Nope, 'fraid there isn't! Your problem is that you're still only 8½ weeks out!
