Glad to hear you have an appointment so soon. I thought you had to wait until December, good to be wrong.

@Celle Does the weirdness with tkr recovery never end? :flabber:

Each time I bend me knee it's like something is passing over the prosthesis like an elastic band, it's very uncomfortable and hurts more the longer I am on my walking.

It's probably a tendon moving over the prosthesis.
I remember that I used to experience that with my first knee replacement - it was the lower part of my ilio-tibial band. As your soft tissues adjust, it should happen less frequently, and then stop.

If it's starting to hurt, cut back the walking a bit.

OK. I guess everything in your knee is a bit upset. Time passing, rest, ice and elevation and appropriate medicaton could all help.

Maybe. :heehee:
It's just reminding you that The Knee is the boss.

Definitely. The Knee Shall Be Obeyed. Hang in there. You will get through this.

Celle & PolarBear60, Then it's safe to say, I don't care for the boss very much! :rotfl:

Jean, hanging in there is getting tougher and tougher it's been that kind of month!

You've had such a lot to deal with! We understand. ((((((((((JustmeT)))))))))) Hugs for you.

I know your knee has, in many ways, been the least of your concerns this month. You have been amazing (I'm sure it doesn't feel that way, though). Hugs to you.

@PolarBear60 Thank you! It's been very hard focusing on my knee for this recovery like it really needed but I really am doing the best I can for it.

It doesn't help that I just got up and twisted it, sigh*, I just do not make it easy!

It sure would be nice to have a day without aching or pain in or around "the knee"! Today, along with the all the rest the tibia decided it needed a voice of its own. Holy ache in the tibia Batman!!! I am not overdoing it, if anything I an underdoing it. All I know is the weirdness with this revision keeps piling up!!!

JustmeT,
It is probably the post in your tibia, mine is 175mm. You had a revision of a partial you may or may not have a post.
I also think it may be the cold weather adding to your recent surgery recovery.

@Pumpkln I will find out on Monday what the set up is of the, however I seem to recall the he did say there is a post. We haven't had any what you would call cold weather yet, just a day or two there last week. I am just whining because I am so done with it...!

:cheers2: Here is a little wine for you.
Recovery is never fast enough, the then all of a sudden you are there.
:walking:

I know about the aching in the tibia. And the ankles. You are a week behind me, and I have made progress this last week. Vacuumed for the first time today. I do lead an exciting life. Hope the next week brings healing improvements for you!
