inspojo. how's the knee feeling. Since you've been so busy with the Warriors, don't forget to take a bit of an ice and elevation break!

What a lovely new avatar, Toni. Yes, I have been I&E the offending joint, and am beginning to appreciate the advice about Patience but I don't naturally have a lot. And the Lads have me worn out...

Why thank you inspojo..hubby took the pic while I was having coffee this morning!! Wasn't expecting a photo shoot!!! I had just gotten up, hair wasn't combed, and I was in my nightshirt!! LOL but hey, here I am.

Now, you just relax and tell the lads they need to do for themselves for a while. PATIENCE me bucko! This is a long recovery.

AH, that "patience" word again. Funny that most people have a hard time learning the meaning of that one simple word. I didn't realize how wide spread this problem was till I joined this forum.:rotfl: I've an idea on keeping the lads under control. Let's all donate a small amount of our pain medication and then Jo can slip some into whatever they are devouring now.:loll:That way he can rest and ponder "PATIENCE"

You must think I have a deathwish, Hopper, I have no intention of tying your Ballymun pals' legs together! (shudders). The ponies had to use the lifts, sure they couldn't manage them stairs at all at all. Did you know that most of the Towers are demolished and are being replaced with 1 and 2 storey homes? There are lots of homeless equines now saying "where's me tower roi' ? " But I do feel a lot more confident now that you could handle the Lads !

Now Titianlady the small problem of getting these from various countries to Jo arises.:umm:
We'd best be careful someone out there in cyber space may think were really smuggling!:rotfl:

Myway, you are very caring but I'd have a ferocious guilt storm if you all let the pains get ahead of the meds on my account. Also, having seen how the Lads reacted to alcohol I'd be very worried about them trying random mixtures of painkillers washed down with their fermented mare's milk. They might go beresk entirely and then where would we be? Rest, is it? There'd be 2 chances of that...

My way. LOL oh, my gosh, I can see it now..a bunch of ladies with knee scars, canes, and crutches, being hauled away in a police wagon for sharing their medication!! NOT a pretty sight!!

Newknees!! Howya doin'? You have a good idea there about visiting the WhiteHouse for a party, I'll let you make those arrangements but be aware that when I was speaking to Barack last week (we're both Irish you know, he often seeks my advice on this-and-that) he had no idea that such a visit might be in the offing. Now, to business... you want 70% of the Lads' profits? That seems very fair to me. Of course it also implies 70% of any losses, does it not... Let me tell you about the Lads, they are still quite traumatised after last night's defeat at the hands of a mob of Ladies Opposed To Sexual Licentiousness ARMED WITH UMBRELLAS, and have spent most of the day trying to apologise to me in their own little ways. Fr'instance, while SWMBO and I were out shopping today the Lads, knowing that I wanted a pile of big boulders cleared away from a part of my estate , got stuck in, and when we got home after 20 minutes or so they had used the stones to construct a very tasteful, nay beautiful throne feature in the Flower Garden. I attach a photo for your approval. They even scratched celtic design curlicues into the stones with their nails. Needless to say we were both greatly impressed, and have decided to concentrate much more on training them in the paths of right behaviour, sobriety and dress, since they clearly have much potential in those areas. Yes indeed. We shall begin tomorrow.

I'm really starting to question our sanity! Whatever is wrong with us is no small thing!:yahoo:It sure beats moanin' and groanin' though.
Night all
Wanda

:sos: HMPH. Sorry, I can't fix it. I am distraught. You'll all just have to imagine a beautiful celtic stone throne. Damn...

See what happens when when we get new knees!! The knees start working and the brain goes balmy!! :rofsign:

GOTCHA!! Proof indeed for any cynics still left out there... [Bonesmart.org] recovery starts 21 May '13

Just wanted you to know inspojo that one night I had several naked dancing men in my hosptial room. I sure enjoyed it. When I mention it to others, they would tell me it was the drugs. I know now that it really happened. It was quite entertaining.
I am curious though how they managed to get from Ireland to Mississippi so quickly.

Thanks for allowing them to visit...can I have more visits even though I am now home?

Well we hope you've all seen the beautiful masonry-work The Lads are capable of ? We both believe very strongly in the value of praise for work well done, sooooooooo all day long we've been heaping it on the Warriors. You can see their chests swelling with pride and new-found self-respect, and that is something to behold. Their sheer physical strength and ability to work as a team will stand to them in any masonry-type project they might undertake, I told them, and they could set up a very successful business for themselves. They're standing there nodding their heads, looking for ideas from each other. "Tell you what" I said, "lets all go for a spin down the motorway, you enjoy that and it'll help you all think quietly..." To cut a long story short, we set off down the motorway, a newly constructed stretch, and for the first time the Lads were all very taken up with observing how the building of a motorway is done, fitting into place the pre-cast central reiforced crash-barriers and all; indeed at one point there was a badlly placed section showing a gap in the barrier which I pointed out to them as an example of poor workmanship. In the rearview mirror I could see Bunzastele's eyes glinting. "He's getting the idea of perfection" I thought to myself, well pleased.
All the way home they're chatting quietly among themselves, insofar as they do anything quietly!! and we arrive back at the estate ,they have their supper of stray cats or something and off to bed. A good day in the training of the Lads in the Path of Righteous Living, I think...
