Hello joe,
How are you & swmbo ? Are you listening to her & doing nothing foolish :no-fin: I have been released by my os
Until next june :yahoo: I am also back to work & walking every day. After 3 months it sure feels good
Talking about something besides knees. Which brings me to our " warriors " I am expecting them back
From their vacation to Chatham ma.with my husband & daughter. They ate clams & chowda & went whale
Watching....they had a blast. This weekend I am bringing them to the museum so they can visit their
Relatives....the statue of. The warrior with his knees knocked & scared look on his face. He, is their
Cousin Cornelius & they would like to see him :console2:
I hope all is well with you,
Diana

new knee in June Hi there Diana. You sound very cheerful, and I know how going to work and walking can do that . I keep reminding myself what it used to feel like and I have to say this feeling is better! So the Lads are coming back from their break with the fishes ... it might be hard getting them to do anything useful for a while, as in "How you gonna get them back on the farm after they've seen Paree" type of thing! Visiting the cousin Cornelius might sober them up a bit actually. Now, you just keep on enjoying workin' walkin' and sleepin ' ! Joe. Sorry about the size here, something unspeakable happened my computer just now and I can't fix it . I'm not shouting!!!

Hi inspojo Great to see you! How goes the recovery? You're not over doing it I trust. The lad's are coming home! My,what wonderful stories they will tell! Just right for sitting around the fire on those cool fall evenings.
Please give us an update on your progress.
Oh, there is another group of ladies who started talking about an island retreat with some cabana boy like creature feeding them grapes and wine! :yikes: I told them I ain't getting involved in that again! Me nerves are only now recovering from the last time! :headbang:

My way Well Wanda, how are you doing? Good I hope. Me, everything on target, lately I've been using stairs a lot and not being used to them the muscles on the right side and back have been letting me know how out of tune they'd become. and the ankle too, but they are slowly starting to behave themselves. I recall the last party I got involved with here, the Lads discovered a whole new side to their abilities plus a taste for strange stimulants. Let's just hope they'll stick to decaff if another shindig happens spontaneously... I believe they intend to apply for citizenship and start paying taxes and so forth. Any bad behaviour.................. Joe

Hi inspojo I'm doing well except for over doing it for two days. Shopping trip on Monday and a longish walk on Tuesday. :headbang: I did get a lot of good deals though! :snork: My knees are not too bad for 10 weeks. It's everything else that hurts! Muscles and ligaments are used to having easy this past 2 months and they don't like the increased activity at all. Glad to hear you are progressing well also.
Now about the Lads, Do you think it's possible to keep them under control for a tad longer? I'm not sure I'm ready for a party quite yet.
wanda

Hello Joe,
How are you doing ? Good I hope :) tell S.W.M.B.O I said "hi" Well I will be 4 months next week. My knee
Is fine, my muscles are :gaah: I think this happens to everyone, so I don't worry.
Can you believe our "Sonja" nothing stops her, she is amazing. I agree with you no parties until she is well :no-fin:
Have a wonderful weekend,
Diana

new knee in June Hi Diana, isn't a terrible thing to throw a party and then everybody tells you you can't go yourself!!! Joe

Glad you guys are doing well. I totally get the muscle thing. My knee constantly feels it's going to give way. I'm back at work full time now and still use one crutch as support. Things are so much better though. Love n hugs x

@Diesellily Hello there. You're so right. A few muscle-aches are nothing and they'll pass. Depends on how long they were without proper exercise before the TKR. Just keep on doing what you're doing! And enjoy being back at work! Joe

Hmm not so sure I like being back at work, I've always been a homebody. My OS discharged today so no more hospital visits planned Hooray!

Hope you're ok and not doing too much x

Hello Joe,
How have you been ? I thought you might get a kick out of my activity this weekend. I was raking leaves
Yesterday & noticed branches in the gutters. Guess who went up on a ladder & cleaned the gutters
If you guessed me, you would be right :)
Thinking of you & your loose roof tile,
Diana

new knee in June Hello Diana! There's no better feeling than your first time up a ladder after a TKR ! Even Sonja would be impressed. After your example now I'm going to fix that tile of mine. If you got away with yards of gutters then a tile should be a doddle. Hows about your gutters Diesellily ?

Dear Joe,
Please don't fix the tile :no-fin: S.W.M.B.O will have my head on a platter :yikes: This was not my intention
I just thought you would be proud of me :heehee:
Take Care my friend,
Diana

Well done Diana!

Joe, my gutters do need looking at but thats a job for my OH Steve. I'm not keen on heights even if I could get up a ladder. :)

I've been thinking of you. I don't post much ( getting on with life) :yahoo:
The Warriors have returned to Marble at the Boston Museum, they are much happier ( They needed the rest ) :heehee:
Once in a while I have one help a hurting Bonesmartie. But, for the most part, they have served their purpose.
All my Best to you, Dear Joe.........
:luv4y: :santa sleigh: :xmas-tree:
Sincerely,
Diana

:dancy::bells::bicycle1::kitty chris::huggy santa::presnt::sleigh::reindeer:@new knee in June Hi there Diana! Lovely to hear from you and thanks for your Christmas greetings. Like you I've pretty much stopped posting and getting on with things, but your post brought back wonderful memories especially about The Lads and the divilment they used to get up to. It's just as well they returned to their original marble; I was worried they were developing too strong a liking for beautiful wimmin and strong likker , not necessarily in that order. If I ever find myself in Boston I will avoid the Museum just in case they spot me, reassume living form and follow me home, like the last time in Venice! But hey, we had some fun, didn't we?
Isn't Sonja, @RestAssured aka in our house as The Human Dynamo, doing great things though, with an Honours Masters an' all. But I worry that she'll get bored with the new state of no studying to do. You keep on helping people. our Sonja! Christmas good wishes too to Wanda and Toni @My way and @Titianlady SWMBO and I send you both our warmest good wishes for the best of everything in 2014. And @Diesellily too. We hope you have a nice snowless winter over there in UK !! We're not particularly well equipped for deep snow. Doesn't happen that often... So, from us to you all, good health, good knees and happy times XXX

Hi Joe,
My knee just held up with 2 days of snow shoveling:snow dig: Now, for the next 5 days it will
Be in the 50's:yahoo:I love the Winter, but not bitter cold:no-fin:
Joe, Can you imagine....since the day of my surgery June 3 I have not had my horrible limp. Not for
1 day:santa clap:I know folks on this forum, who really have to work on this. I am truly Blessed with a
Wonderful recovery & for that I am Thankful:angel:
Plus the fact my replacement is from a car accident in 1977, My other knee is never going to
Have to be replaced ( I hope I didn't Jinx myself ):rotfl::rotfl:
All my best to you & the Misses,
Diana:snowman::santa::santa sleigh::snows::xmas-kitty:

@inspojo,

Your post is more realistic for me than you can imagine! I am BORED on vacation, but I am about to take my cousin to the gym tonight to get in an exercise session! She used to go but hasn't in a long time! When I started mentioning all the things we would do she got pale, so I guess I will see where she is and start slowly! Hate to see her running and screaming from the gym on her FIRST night! Lucky for her, I will be here until the 24th for a "crash" course!:rotfl::happydance::yay::dancy:
