@VF Thrilled for you that it's over & you sound terrific. Here's to an uneventful, successful recovery! How was the care @ CC?

Shrink care excellent! Like a hotel with great people. So organized.

Fabulous. Good to know if I need any more joints fixed (hope not!). Your OS was one of the recommendations given me by my knee OS. He gave me Dr. Suarez & Dr. Patel. Enjoy being on the other side.

Yay @VF welcome to the other side...here's looking forward to your recovery!!!

That's great news! Follow the BS MANTRAS and you will be on your way. Rest, ice and elevate! So happy for you! Jackie

So glad you are doing so well @VF.....hope your journey home goes well..... Nothing like being at home... Even without the Diana Von Furstenburg gown! Hope you have a great recovery. Xxxxx

I'm hope after 24 hours! Feel log leg but pain in manageable with Tylenol tramadol and ice. Sooo tired. Using walker with no problems. Home pt will start in two days. Bone and bone gone! Surgery took 45 minutes. My hip had started to collapse.

First night at home felt good. Able to walk with walker. Just weak and sorry.. Constipated. Pain minimal more a soreness. Home physical therapy today. I'm going to catch up on the daytime shows and work from home tomorrow. My doc told me no restrictions to pace myself. Feeling very proud that I did this! I chose mobility over pain and kvetching! I should get a tee shirt that says that. My husband waiting on me and that helps as a back up.
Thanks so much all of you! This board got me thru the rough patches of doubt and despair.

You are on the mend now @VF!
take it slow and steady.
Enjoy our little milestones as they play out.

@VF You're on your way-how wonderful. Here's a little hint from someone a month out - don't let DH see you doing too much LOL once mine caught on to all I could actually do the "pity factor" was gone:) Seriously I couldn't have done it without him. Looking forward to your recovery journey.
