It was not bad. A couple were slightly stingy, but nbd. I can start therapy. My X-rays were really cool. I looked at the before and no wonder it hurt to walk! He added a centimeter and a half of length to my leg.
He gave me my scrip for my therapy and kind of loosened up my restrictions. More like 90 degree ish but don't go nuts. He's more worried about twisting.
@muckingabout That sounds like a good report. Glad to hear of loosening of restrictions. I look forward to your therapy reports too. Do you have a plan or a PT chosen already? So, this was 2 weeks exactly, right? Congrats on that marker. You always sound to be doing well. What kind of twisting is he thinking your are doing?
It's so nice to see these go! Helps you know that the outside is healing well---just have to remember there's four layers underneath that are still healing slowly---so don't be surprised if you feel like you have a rock inside there for a while.

I woke up once last night, went to the rest room and rearranged my pillows to elevate my leg. I was awake make 15 minutes. That's it. That's like 11pm-6am. I think my appointment yesterday reassured me that my leg wouldn't snap off like a Barbie's if I shifted a centimeter in the wrong direction.
@muckingabout - that is awesome about the sleep. I know that was one thing I was sure looking forward to, a good night's sleep!! It makes all the difference, doesn't it?
Okay, since I can't talk about it in real life, I'll say it here. My daughter's boyfriend had "the talk" with my husband this weekend and when she returns from vacationing in Disney with his family next week, she will be engaged.
And in case I haven't mentioned it, I will be dogsitting while they are gone. Spenser will have a blast. Their dog is Bismarck, a standard, smooth-coated dachshund and Spenser is a mini, long-haired
