Hi @Legin
You are amazing with all that walking and benefitting from it. Yesterday I got some itchy blistery spots around my ankles and I though "Oh no I have got what Legin's got" it tuned out to be insect bites from the little gardening that I had done. Thank goodness - I can't compete with your selection of ailments.

Well I am settling down to a day of doing very little in order to rest my hip - a feeling of been here before ....

@Legin
how did I miss the last several updates? Seems all I can do is sleep and sleep some more.
Speaking of witches and other "magic" I so wish that I had some of those powers- you would be tops on my list to help.
Glad you see the wisdom in keeping meds at the higher level. We really can't have Harold overworked.

hugs to you !!

Well there are standing stones about a mile from me. I also firmly believe in the power of positive thinking and that the said positive thinking is.infectious.

Tad bit of a flare up, but hey these things happen.

Oh, Legin. Bummer. I'm stirring up a witches brew to help.

Nothing like a good session in the kitchen to raise my spirits. Fed 8 for supper, made chicken enchiladas, normal and sweet potato wedgies and guacamole. Put some more uplifting tunes on as I was cookering and sang my way thru cooking. Toes are sore they feel like they have had a chat with a hammer. I can feel a good walk is needed well so the dogs tell me.

@Legin I understand your enjoyment of cooking. When I was recovering from foot op I remember having such a sense of achievement when I did my first "proper" meal - a good old fashioned cottage pie! Takeaways don't seem to arrive from you this far south of Kinross though.

Little grandson is due over for the weekend - so exciting, lifts the spirits. He is at the age when he will play with pastry until its dirty and uncookable but great fun.

Don't forget the moon tonight. I saw the super moon in the middle of the night last night it looked like a big orange hanging lampshade. Tonight it is a super moon plus eclipse - so all Bones Smarties who are not sleeping there's a bonus for you.

Cooking is therapeutic in particular baking. @copsham thanks for the info re the moon tonight. I'll be looking xx
@Legin enjoy your walk, I hope the weather up there up is as nice as it is here

woo hoo @Legin ! Oh, how I wish I were there to eat that meal! I love Mexican foods. That's pretty awesome that it can lift your spirits like that. Singing and cooking are a good mix.

@copsham thanks for the moon info.. it seems apropos to have the special lunar event while the Pope is here visiting. :mooncat:

I got my days and time zones wrong - supermoon tonight and tomorrow, eclipse between Sun and Monday BST 2-4am. I think being so much less active with hip and foot, I tend to follow things like this which I would have been too busy for in days gone by!

Raining to beat the band here, no eclipse .(
@Legin I've heard you use "tad bit" before and wonder if it's a regionalism? Here you would use it if you were "old" or "country/rural" and white, from the South. Not sure, maybe you have to be Baptist too
It's so sad that all our regional accents are being taken over by California girl style...

My phone sent this using BoneSmart Forum, clever phone!

Err no I'm one of the few people round here that use the word tad. Its a Leginism or even Nigelism that I adopt words and tend to keep them. Well that and make up words. When the girls were young we regularly would play wee word games. Their fav was replace first letter in words with one constant letter. It was amazing how they came up with what to them was slightly naughty words.

Chortle. It is difficult but often the best we can do is ride it out

@Legin Hi late night, i see you have been chugging through like a steady tugboat. I always laughed but something is happening. I think i'm starting to chortle a wee bit. Do you think it's possible to change because of Bonesmart World wide Leginism? Think of the possibilities. Keep on getting better!

Well @Legin - being compared to a "steady tugboat"!! @Michegon what boat are you? At worst I am a submarine at best I am a seaplane! I definitely think it is possible to change because of the Bonesmart as positive and kind words are infectious.
