Here's mine, 2 years post op. The one that on the side of my knee is from my ACL reconstruction surgery in 1973.

Here are my glued incisions at 3 days and 6 1/2 weeks.

This is my scar at three weeks. The brown gunk is simply medicine that I hadn't been able to scrub off.

Well, here is my LTKR at 4 weeks one day. I am going to have to tease the surgeon. It was his first day back after a vacation and I think he could have done a better job on a straighter incision line. Have my other knee up there to show the difference.

Weeks 1 - 10.
Have been happy with my scar right from the start - it's been the best bit about the whole TKR thing! Massaged it every day from week 2 with Sweet Almond Oil, no evidence that it's good for scar reduction but it feels nice.

Now the check x-ray from week 16 and todays pics. Actually it's quite therapeutic looking back at these pics & am feeling grateful for an uncomplicated recovery.
