My OS opened up the original TKR scar to do the patellar resurfacing - staples came out on the 5th.

TKR revision, replaced the plastic surface and post. Was hoping for a less painful recovery as no bones were cut. So far just like the original on day 2 of recovery pain levels. Just looking forward to some relief. Ice and drugs not doing the job as well as I would like.

TOP: scar at 3 weeks, dressing removed, about to get staples removed

BOTTOM: scar at 6 weeks, greenlighted for emollients, so it got lots of moisturizer and vitamin e!!!

Scar at two weeks post op, when bandaging was removed by PA. Dissolving stitches and glue to close. The scab halfway down my shin is where the robotic device was anchored.
