Hi Okie<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Sorry to hear about the pain. I remember it well and with it being your left leg, which ends up holding the door open and so on it makes it tough. I actually ended up moving my holster forward on my belt but it still rubbed.
Don’t forget, if you are having "one of those nights" go home! It’s not worth it being distracted with the aches and pains.
You can try a plastic dry cleaning bag on the seat it will help you slide your legs out first (just not what you need when you are driving fast trying to get to a call so its a double edge sword) I took a lot of breaks to get out of the car, as time allowed, the first few months I was back.
Sorry your LT is being a jerk. I ended up with a few of those right before I retired. But you know he/she is a LT for reason, couldn’t hack the street so they hid until they could test and get off the street. It’s a sad fact about police work, the losers are running the places.
Anyway Okie, feel better, take breaks at work, remember your limitations, and keep your head down out
