In Brad's defense. Brad has been married for a few years now. No need to keep fit to keep the DW. If she kicks him out watch how fast he will be back in shape.

RED ALERT - After recovery and a scheduled vacation, I'll be back to work on Monday !! The LLD is almost unnoticeable so shouldn't be any unwanted turns to the right. I'm feeling great - the extra recovery time for the 2nd hip helped a lot.

Thanks John. Glad you are on schedule for #2. Just a head's up, the 2nd one may take a bit longer to recover, but the end result is worth it.
Josephine - if you are reading this .... at 100+ posts and a 2nd hip I suggest it's time to change GoatRam's status from a Newbie !

Two new hips and a few months recovery and back in the saddle. The best part is being able to do the simple things without pain ..... like going for a walk, sleeping, doing household chores, and not being a whiny husband about my darned hip pain. I'm eternally grateful for today's medical techniques and the professional staff who performed the THRs on me, as well as the PT staff in recovery. Last but not least, is all of you fellow BoneSmarties here on the forum - thank you all !

Kevin you are so right just doing "Normal" things with no pain is such a total delight. I think about the pain free stuff all the time and just smile to myself.
