Natalie, maybe you need to take the patiently out of that sentence. I know that he US system is different from yours, but around here the squeaky wheel gets the grease! I would call every day--be nice, but be firm. once a nurse told me that they "did is special, just to stop the calls" . I wonder if she thought that sentence DIScouraged me? Kelly

Kelly I've rang every week and they are always so rude to me that I dread ringing again but I will be tomorrow as I know that whatever is going on is not right,I have constant stiffness,locking,pain 24/7 despite being on strong meds.I can't do anything without it bringing on pain I just hope the scan shows something because I'm not sure how much more I can take :(

Natalie, my husband, Bob, has a lot of pain and he is quite irritable most of the time. I know that it is difficult. It is also difficult to be the wife of that person!! You will have to look ahead and know that there is probably something you can do, but first you have to get the stupid scans. So, since they are rude, take off the gloves. Vent some of that irritability on someone who deserves it instead of your family. LET Them have it!!!! I think it will make you feel less like a victim, and that in itself is a good outcome. Kelly

You're right Kelly I can be a miserable darn pain really gets me down,I've just phoned them again and was told once again that they still haven't got an appointment :(

Wait a minute, why isn't your doc and his staff helping you with this? I think you need someone official to look into this for you. Even a gp should be able to help. K

It's the doctors secretary I've been talking to and she just keeps saying they haven't fit me in for an appointment yet.
Natalie I would ask to speak to someone else immediately. This response is just not on! You need to be seen and get treated as a matter of urgency. Or tell her you will hold the line until she figures out when you can be seen. This is just unacceptable! I'll tag Jo and see if she has any ideas. Josephine;

Natalie, Jaycie is right! The secretary has no business putting you off like this! You don't deserve to be treated like this and they need to get busying taking care of you instead of leaving you in pain!

Just curious, if they have the results, why can't you have them sent directly to Dr. Maale? Do they need to see you first?

Hi guys well I lost it this afternoon and asked to speak to someone more senior it took all afternoon for someone to ring me back but the conclusion was I have an appointment on 21st September so another months wait :(
Pumpkin they won't release the results to anyone not even me until I see a doctor my surgeon won't even be at my appointment as he's not available until November!!!
I have just about had enough now and took the steps to return to my initial surgeon today it's a very long way to go but I need someone who listens and helps!!
The hospital are aware that I want the results on a disc so if you don't mind Sonja/Jo would you be able to help me to get them to Dr Maale xx Josephine;
