"Probably"?????? I am sooo shocked by this - at the Wrightington of all places. :DOH: That's really demolished my respect for that place.

That and a past member who had her TKR there and has ended up with a really stiff knee they have never shown the slightest interest much less concern for. She's in her 40s and a prison nurse so in a very testing job. Obviously their strong suit is just hips!
 
Hey Natalie, hope your ok. I haven't been on for a while, just had a tough week. I too am VERY shocked about wrightington and how you have been treated. I think Dr maale really could be your saviour. You must put your energy into following that route. I really believe things happen for a reason and meeting Sonja on here was the start....

Hi guys sorry I've not been around I have let things get on top of me and I'm feeling a bit down we were mean't to be going on holiday this week as it's our wedding anniversary this week and we haven't been able to go as I'm just not fit enough that is so so frustrating!

I know exactly where you are coming from . 29 Feb of this year was our 40th anniversary and with my hip our trip to Ireland has been put on hold and with my progress so far there is a black cloud in the distance that says quietly to me that it's going to be cancelled. My hubby said that all that really matters is that we are together where ever that may be. I'm very lucky.

Anniversaries are a celebration of the heart. Happy Anniversary and many more!

Hi Natalie, hope your ok? I think Wrightington are falling further and further behind with appointments. I was there today on D ward and heard people talking about how long they have waited for treatment. one lady had waited since beginning of Dec for a partial hip revision and every time she called admissions, the list had gotten longer. like she said if its a list surely you move up it! she rang up and was very firm on the phone and she got a letter and date for the following week. think it depends on how loud you shout !! take care Hun, dawn vxx

Just getting caught up on your story and I am horrified at your situation!
I do hope that you can manage to get to Dr. Maale and get this fixed, or at least get some solid advice on how to proceed.

My husband and I choose not to celebrate our anniversary. We celebrate the day we met instead, because that is when all the fun started....

Thanks guys Jo I am bugging them but they are passing me off with alsorts of excuses
The consultant who wrote the letter is on annual leave
They can't find the email sent to radiologist
They have a 20 week waiting list anyway!

As its the Queen's Jubilee here everything is shut until tomorrow so I will start my quest again!

I've had a stomach upset for 2 weeks now almost sure it's long term affects of the meds,I'm experiencing stomach pain,nausea and sickness most days.

Hope you're all doing ok xx
