Revision TKR I just got my new knee.

I fill better. Not doing a lot today. Just setting. Boring.

How's your weather? It's only in the high 70's here, but low humidity. Could someone help you get situated outside for a bit?

It's about 75 80 here. Light clouds. I can't go out. My leg hurts to bad.

Rested all day. Knee busted open again. It's weird. Doc not available on weekend. Just have bandaid and ointments on it.

Very tierd. Knee and hip aches.

Angel,
Are you still taking oral antibiotics? Your wound opening makes me uncomfortable, you probably will need to go to the ER again if it gets worse. Does the New OS office have someone on call on the weekends? You can call them.
Post another photo so @Jamie and @Josephine can take another look.

Yea the new OS know. But they can't do anything till I'm established. Yeh I have antibiotics and steroid. I fill fine know. I'm alright. My reg doc said he keep me on Meds till I see new OS.

Glad you are feeling better, the photo looks better that the one a few days ago. Sounds like you Dr is on top of things.
 
I think the best thing to do is what I suggested before. Call the new surgeon's office on Monday or Tuesday to be sure they received the information from the Emergency Room. At that time, if the wound is still oozing, tell them about that as well. If it's open, they could do a swab....and should do one to test for the possibility of a deeper infection. Just keep on top of things like you're doing, Angel, and you'll be okay until you see the surgeon in a couple of weeks (or maybe sooner, if they decide you need to come in).
 
Today was better. Meds make me fill better. I get munchies from the steroid. Knee is healing and dry up..

I am calling new OS to see if they got the report. Hopefully they did.

And as of Friday they was way over booked. Assume cause there #1 in tri-state. And from what I heard is they get a lot of my old doc patinats;-( which is real scary.

Ins is a bit tricky with the new doc. They claim on one ins. It's out of network. So if that is the case I will have pay $50.00 and with other ins they require pre Auth. So I'm hooping it will be done.

From referral I've schedule me an apt with reg doc and wound clinic to be on safe side make sure nothing serious.

It's not drain not swelled. Had it up all day. From bed to couch.

Hub cooked I felt good so I went in and made some green been casserole. And I was setting down.

Fill nice not to cough to where ribs hurt. And great to be able to breathe with out it hurt. It's was a mess. Life was a bit depressing. But it's better.


Have court tommrow. Dread the security check. Will prob wear dress shorts so they can see my knee. In hopes it will avoid the female take me in other room uncomfortable embarrassment of having pull up shirt shake top and pat down. Yikesssssss.

Thanks it's been a nightmare. One min I'm fine doing good next min I'm sick. Thanks court is least of worries. There dad has no chance. Just will be more funny when he try to say I ain't good for kids. Oh well. I have all my proof.

Thanks me to. All apart of having kids. It will be ok. This knee is been awful. But at least it's not draining. I've been on so many Meds in last few weeks.
