I love ky- use to live in Louisville. So beautiful there. Going to retire there in another 8 years!
 
Ashland sux. And the ins here does to. Docs is getting real bad. Would be a beautiful place if they fix the roads. Get the ratty houses down. And just clean area up. . Xxx

Angel, you need to insist on two things while you're in Emergency....

1. An xray that will be evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon who can determine whether there is a problem with your implant (hopefully it could be forwarded to your new surgeon there in Huntsville).

2. Tests (a swab and/or blood tests) to check for infection in your knee.

I'm so glad you went. You are at the Huntsville hospital, right??? Hope so, honey. This really needs some serious attention. If you have a difficult time getting what you need, first contact your new surgeon's office to see if they can help you. Another option is to ask to talk to the hospital's patient advocate. Don't let them blow you off. You have serious issues going on and you need to have a complete check.

Don't get frustrated or angry....just be firm and keep asking who do I need to talk to to get my problems resolved.
 
Huntington Hospital. Urgent care. Have to go in pvt. Cause my x family work here and I have keep secret to avoid trouble. But new surgeon is affiliated with place.

I'm still waiting. I've had some blood work. It's all dry so they can't do swab. Waiting for X-ray. 1st thing she said is oh my goodness.

Well they took swab said take a week to come back. Put me on antibiotic and steroid. Said keep knee covered. Waiting for X-ray there so busy. She sent a pt in and said 93 bend and 14 ext wow how I've went down.

Xray show some shadow of the knee. So there calling the new OS for me. And hoping I can get in early. Gave me cream for knee steroid and antibiotic so hope it helps.

You've done the right thing by going in, Angel. And it appears they are doing a good job of checking you out. Please don't jump to any conclusions about the possibility of there being an infection in your knee. Only tests can prove that to be the case or not. In any case, it definitely sounds like you are in good hands. I'll be praying for you.
 
Thanks I don't know if I do. She just said appeared to her. But she said she will send to new OS. So that's good.

On positive note she said the doc I'm seeing is magnificent. I said he was nice and had good side manner when I saw him before. That makes me fill better. She said that he is dedicated to his patients. @Jamie good choice.

She said that she called the Meds into pharmacy. And said cream will heal knee. Just told me to rest. She said on paper celitious. Wow don't see how that can happen. Said knee look on place to her. But she is not Ortho. I

Thanks it's a nightmare. I just hope he can figure why I'm have pain. And they can get me in sooner.


They did chest X-ray and said all infection gone. Said must been bad bug. I still fill icky. But lord I been a mess.

Just rest now, Angel, and try not to worry. They have given you good meds to get you through until test results are back. I'm very glad they will be sending your xrays to your new doctor. You might want to follow up with his office in a couple by next Monday or Tuesday to be sure they got them and the doctor will be reviewing them. He is really the only one who will be able to interpret the images to determine what is going on in your knee. I still feel you are with the right guy this time. I know all this was difficult for you and I'm proud of you for getting it all done.
