Hi dogtales thank you for your concern, as for the sleeping on my side I'm conflicted , one day I'm all for it and want to try it and another day I'm a little apprehensive I'll do damage to the operative side, I know laying on my non operated side is no problem and I tried it last Saturday and it didn't last long because my operated side started to throb to where it was to uncomfortable so I had to get up plus I got drowsy laying there and before I fell asleep and there was a serious problem I gave up and figured I would try it again another time.
As far as the walking( I take walks down my street 3-4 times a walk weather permitting) yes I walk without a problem, I still use my cane as a precaution as I don't want to cause any additional issues for myself, when I overdue it I pay the price BIG time the next day, to the point I have to sit in my recliner and relax because my quad muscle and calf is really sore and of course the good old hip ends up throbbing, but what can you do, im still early in my recovery but I can't complain my rehab has been awesome with no major setbacks....GOD IS GOOD..! !
