THR Hippity Doo Dah!<

That is something I will enjoy again this summer
I am finding it quite fun as I get reminded of things I love doing and realizing I will be able to do many of them again this summer. Markets and festivals will be much more fun. I won't be doing a lot in the garden but I will be able to a little bit more than I have in the last 5 years. Walks along the lake here and the promenade at Niagara Falls, etc., etc. My husband has been feeling me out on a camping trip this summer. That is how we met and we both still really love camping.

Camping sounds so good. I've been wanting to go for years but something always comes up. Mainly the hip problem before surgery! That's so neat that's how you and your husband met!! :roseshwr:

I haven’t been to an art fair is many years because of the walking. Skipped the local festivals and carnivals and such too last year, much to my son’s dismay. It will be so nice to be able to get back to this little joys again.

Set a personal goal of making it to at least one of my son’s baseball games before the season ends at the beginning of June.

@Carriemay60 sounds like you had a great day, have me sitting here starving now after the description of the all the food at the market! :snork:

Hope you get to go camping this year. Me, I'll skip the camping, never been one of my favorite things to do and the Army cured me of ever wanting to do it again! :censored:

Day #20 Doubled my outside walk distance this afternoon to 3 houses. Iced when I got in and so far no ill effects. If I am not overly sore tonight and in the morning I will increase it by one more house and do it morning and afternoon. If a bit sore, I won't increase the distance but try twice a good 6 hours apart. Heel/toe seemed easier. I made the salad for dinner - I just add extras to a bag salad. Boys are bbq'ing chicken.

This morning I felt SO sleepy I headed back to bed for a few hours. When Mr. Minchausen phoned at lunch and I disclosed my long nap, he declared he's been feeling very tired the last few days but feeling better today and went onto assure me I should start to feel better tomorrow!!! YAY!!!! Can hardly wait :bawl:

In other news my son pointed out that now would be the time to commit the perfect crime since my footprints would offer up a very weird gait. Hmmm.....

That's really good with your walking. That's how I started a walking regimen too, it makes it seem easier to just count the houses. I hope you aren't sore tomorrow so you can keep going. You're so lucky your guys are cooking and taking care of you!
