Do you use heat Alfie? The ice protocol is best for most post op but perhaps it would soothe for sleep.
Oh my stars...miserable hip not letting me sleep forever before hip replacement.
Honestly thought it would make me crazy.
I don't guess being a squeakier wheel would get them to expedite things, if nothing else to shut you up?
Feel like you have been in pain forever.

Magical Spiderman pole has to be reworked due to user errorbut large mouthed bass in the pond have started to bed. So goes I'll have to use a big boy fishing pole and catch one of those.
Will release as they are bedding now, but there are some nice 5-8 lb Bass in there so would be fun to fight one.

Hi @Alfie888 I had my arthroscopy on Tuesday this week. Did you feel utterly drained for days afterwards? I feel so exhausted and giddy! Pain is ok when I don’t do too much!

Hey Alfie.
Just checking in to let you know I am still keeping fingers crossed for appointment to come soon.
I DO feel lucky that we don't seem to have long wait times for such things in our region.
Some one is always ready to do something to get the money.
I have a crazy rest of the week..health department inspection, fundraiser for United Way, one of our benefactors...I have too attend.
Only good thing, it's a Taste if the Town kind of thing so 30 restaurants / bakeries/ etc. will be there with all their best so at least I'll be eating well.

Hi @cazmat, sorry for the late reply. Yes I felt tired and out of it for quite a few weeks. That initial healing really takes it out of your body. I also lost quite a bit of weight. Not a good thing for me as I don’t carry to much spare.

I hope your recovery is going well.

Hi @Mojo333, Hope you are doing well. It sounds like you are busy at work. I hope it’s all going well. Health inspectors sounds ominous!

Things have been hectic at my end with work and home the last week, hence me not posting. Still not sleeping well. I’ve decided to cut down on my evening pain meds to see if that helps. Just dropping them a fraction at a time to see if it makes a difference.

Still not had an appointment through for the injection. I’m going to give them a call on Friday if I still haven’t heard anything.

The weather is foul here, cold, snow, wind, cold, snow, wind. So fishing is out of the question at the moment. Go catch me one of those big ole bass will ya.

We don’t get freshwater bass over here, which is a shame. I think they prefer warmer climates.

Walking through the woods and found an old hand well. Almost walked into it...don't think my hips would've stood up to putting leg into that.
Now I'm obsessed with wondering if there is a treasure down there..gold, silver, confederate coins...dead armadillo!
