Your poor husband. It's a long time to be in pain--I know mine started about 12 yrs ago. At least there is a way to fix that pain. Hope the appt goes well! You were smart not to push yourself too hard @AgilityDog ! I pushed it too much this weekend and I think it's set me back almost a week. :bawl:
 
Oh. No! @hipster333 ! I over-did-it on Friday and that was enough of that!! I learned my lesson.

DH had 2 spinal surgeries before I met him. He had several years of a pain management doc 'before' & shoulder surgeries 'before'. I think/ we both think that the OS will help. If it's not his speciality, he can point us in the right direction.

Just think, you'll be an old pro and great help for hubby when he goes through his THR.
I hope you have a peaceful relaxing week, with lots of rest.
Overdoing it so easily sets you back at this point.

I often think it would be nice to move out of the frozen tundra of the Upper Midwest
but I would find it too difficult to leave my adult (children) :heehee: and my grandkids.
If we could only pack em up and drag em with us wherever we decided to plant ourselves.
Aaah!....a mom / grandma can dream.....right? You're lucky to have family there with you.

We followed them. Hawai'i is too long a trek to render emergency assistance. We came with intentions of staying at least as long as they are here. I am the official baby & dog sitter. My daughter has health needs that sometimes cause her to need assistance.
 
@AgilityDog just checking in to see how you're feeling today. You are amazing to be there for your daughter when she needs you! (and you definitely got lucky in where she needed you:heehee:) Still, it must have been hard to leave friends and any other family. When is your husband seeing the OS?

ALOHA! ❤️ I updated my 'Light at the end of the Tunnel'. I have been busy overdoing. And foot up with Ice.

DH is not ready for bilateral bionic hips. Yet. He has shallow cups. Displastic hips. I think we found someone willing to look for reasons for pain and how to 'fix it'.

Everyone here is wonderful and such a huge help in my journey. Thank You!
