THR Hawai'i Healing Hipster

Oh, it might be a little early to try to decrease your meds. It's okay to try that but, if it's not working out, it might be better to go back to the original dosages. Most people find that they start forgetting doses naturally, so they don't need to deliberately try to decrease them. It just happens.

Oh, I definitely forget my Rx! I have reminders in my phone. I have the days of the week of pill holders. Yes. Multiple. I took empty pill bottles and marked them with my times (5AM; 11AM; 5PM; 11PM) it seems to be the only way I can keep track.

Hope all eases worth thigh muscles. Mine were super super sore and did get tremors every once in a while, especially after over activity. You're grandson checked out your surgery..
He sounds smart and sweet, Grammy.:)

@AgilityDog

Your grandson sounds so cool. I love that he looked your surgery up on his iPad. I think you have an influence on his caring, helpful, thoughtful nature. Children learn what they experience. I know that’s been my experience with your posts to me - kind and caring.

Janet

He is crazy smart @Mojo333 . He doesn't realize he doesn't have a real iPad, but he has lots of learning sites to visit and apps to play around with. He helped me finish putting on my slipper. He asked if there was more cleaning that me could do. & I said I thought he'd done all that I needed help with. He proudly told his mother, when she came to pick him up, that he had done all the housework

@Mojo333 I forgot to say Thanks about the muscle tremors! The muscle relaxer helps with the Fibromyalgia pain/spasms. I suppose I should've left the tall branches on the shefeleria (I cant spell & spell check can't figure out what I want) alone for a while longer. I was supposed to go to PT today, but rescheduled them, yesterday, for next week. If I need a nap after my shower and then have to drive & then walk, I think I will be done! Forget PT !

The only time I ever knew where my boundaries were in terms of causing discomfort to my hip, was after I had overdone it. :umm:
Then I did just what you did, took it extra easy after that to recover.
We are using muscles in a way we couldn't before with bad Hip.
It only hurt when I stopped.
I think you are doing stupendously I think you have a very practical attitude about your recovery.
These first months, patience is vital to giving our body the energy and time to heal itself.
Soon the main problem you'll have will be how to slow yourself down some.:egypdance:

Hi @AgilityDog
I hope you had a good sleep and that your muscles spasms have decreased, or disappeared.
Wishing you a comfortable day of continued healing in beautiful Hawaii!
Happy Saturday! :loveshwr:

Thank you/ Mahalo @Layla
Yesterday was a learning experience. It is very easy to go past comfortable movement and slide right into tooo much, should have stopped earlier, movements!:bolt:

I think today will be a day of rest :mcoffee: and reading. :ice:Ice and water:beer:.

Happy weekend of Healing to all my Hippie friends:friends:

Good morning @AgilityDog just wanted to drop by and wish you a great day! Hopefully you’ve managed to get that much needed rest!

Hi @AgilityDog
Good to hear, hopefully the soreness and spasms were from
a little overactivity in grabbing and tugging on those tree branches.
I'll bet getting some rest yesterday helped.
Hope your Sunday is great!

Good morning! @hipster333 & @Layla  I slept well. I'm up and showered. Resting to get dressed. DH is driving me to church for a responsibility. Services already started at 8. I learned my lesson on Friday. I'm not up for that much time being 'up'. I don't want to be noticed because I fell. :dead:

Oh @AgilityDog hope you were ok at church. Too much sitting for me at this point. Make sure to take timeto rest. I'm one to talk. Totally order did it today

Thanks, @hipster333 . I actually skipped church, for the reason you mentioned. I ended up riding in the car to sign a report and didn't have to even get out of the car! Went back home and put my leg up & :ice:ice on. DH went to Costco. We agreed that I was not ready to walk through Costco Or drive a motorized shopping cart. :bicycle2:

Good that you are giving yourself plenty of healing time.
Things will be getting better and better.
Will you accompany hubby to his consult? Hip replacements galore at your house, oh my stars!
Hope today is a Good Day.
