I love the idea of our sailor suits but I want my sunset colors to be teal, pink, black and electric blue. I will look stunning in it as I have reddish blonde hair coloring my grey and green eyes. No freaking sailor hats @cpollock , @Mojo333 @zauberflöte @GrannyC @Layla

I am glad you all wear deodorant in close quarters like an Ark we can't have stench. Speaking of Arks we can do it I looked up a cubit in my study Bible....we have the dimensions :happydance::spin::yay::happydance::dancy::cheers: . I love the idea of our masseuse. Adding a few of those. We need a couple full service salons anyhow.

I am wondering what we will do with used toilet paper and um waste material in our Ark... anyone? It's not in the Bible. Planes and trains treat them and um let it fly I think. Limos well many stops are needed. We may want a few cruise ships too. Open air is nice and swimming pools, hot tubs. Um my waffles are done BRB :yes!:

My gosh, I'm glad you had some lazy time, very important to recharge and rest. Especially after stressful times and you did exercise at the beach and bring out and about. I also have fresh corn and getting my fill, there are ornaments huts set up all over the place. I believe we all wear deodorant @MyAussieGirl and I have one sense of smell, it disappeared about 6 years ago. I've been checked out and even a MRI of the brain. Nothing wrong they say and sometimes it just happens. I get a hint if the odor is really strong and just enough so I can still taste. I hope you are doing well, how are the hips feeling today? Mag @MyAussieGirl so good to hear your voice! It sounds like you had a lovely recharge, and oh I am so jealous of your fresh corn. When it's real I can make a meal of it (and then regret that...).

@cpollock my mom says she's never had a sense of smell! I believe her, but I sure got a double dose of it, which is nice around good smells and for being the one who smells the stove pilot light out, but not when somebody smoked in here 6 months ago, or when some teen male dumps Axe all over himself.

OK my special angels.... I am soon off for the night.

My non operated hip is Killin me I'm not gonna tag anyone as I'll accidentally leave someone out and feel bad.... I normally hate HATE to have lazy time I bore easy is evident in the first 10 million pages of my thread. But I was sooooo beat I enjoyed that night minus how tired I was.

I am glad to have gastro on board she's be nice too and feeds my ego.

I am glad we all wear deodorant but still the same in case someone lied I'll throw an extra bag of them in...you know ...in case.

I'm not worried about arm pits as much as I am of a mix of smelly animals on this boat!
No offense to anyone's pet. Have been a pet (dog) owner myself.

Sorry your hip is killing you @MyAussieGirl. You have to hang in there a lil while longer. Then you'll be on the way to a new you! I'm happy to hear you found that gastro too, sounds like she's just what you need!

I hope you have a great weekend and that it's warm enough for you to get in a :swim::swim:

Hugs!

I'd rather be kick said sore hip but um that would hurt me which would stink

I know this hip is bone on bone also and as my fixed leg is a tad longer it adds stress on this one. I will be well once the new one is in.

Last night the temps were low again making lake extra cold so no swimming today but after church we got the dog, took him for a ride and a walk. I did housewife junk later hubby made dinner....that was pretty well our day but it was nice.

Layla, my Mojo smells like Pantene shampoo...when not smelling like pond.
Aussie, can't wait till you are able to get rid of that bad hip. Hate to see you do the recovery trail again but my bone on bone pain made sleep impossible. So nice to sleep again.
Then again, if pain hadn't been so bad I probably would have put this off and limped through the next year.

Hope you're having a good day, Aussie Girl with no tummy upsets and manageable hip pain.
Kind of a boring day here for me. But that's okay once in awhile.
Went grocery shopping, that's about it. Taking it easy as I have my granddaughter all week, for the last week before she goes back to school. She'll keep me hoppin'!
Wishing you a great evening @MyAussieGirl

Kinda slow day here also. As you said, uneventful can be okay.
I picked off lots of fresh peanuts today as they are about to be harvested and my BIL has unlimited access as he leases land to peanut farmers. Ate way too many peanuts. .green, parched, boiled. Glad you had a cooled out :ok:day.

Sounds like you are doing much better these days, @MyAussieGirl . Hopefully you get a few more beach days in before your next surgery. Have you come up with a higher couch or chair yet so you'll have it when you get home from surgery? I've seen some used ones in great condition at several estate sales. Or check yard sales in very nice neighborhoods. I think it would be a big help to you to have something higher. It's good you are keeping busy.

I was hoping I had good news for you @GrannyC that's what made me smile all day but I couldn't tell you till it happened but I don't think it is gonna happen now...
GrannyC we found the perfect couch really nice and high for me very easy to get up... another one elsewhere was close... Hubby said we would get one. But I think as always he just talks ...got my hopes up :boohoo:. I kept waiting we went back... I talked the man down a hundred dollars and well I wait :sorry:. I am very worried on up and down especially this side but

We have a sports car no way can we move anything.... I donno it all upsets me really can't deal with the stress.

I am trying to keep busy and get ahead on the house.

Beach hasn't worked for us due to temps.... today we got a half hour in

I had pictures of the sofa and all to show you but again I kinda think he will just let me struggle :what:

awwww sweetie @MyAussieGirl whatever happens with a couch, you'll make it work. I know all the trauma that comes with waiting on a major hope to happen.... I have confidence in you-- whatever happens, you'll make it work! :) :-) (:

I'll TRY to be back late but time lately has been at a premium for the net

All in all things are fine Huge hugs to one and all

Aww @MyAussieGirl i feel bad for you! Getting your hopes up only to have them dashed!
I realize this isn't the best solution but have you tried those risers you can buy for beds? I don't see why they wouldn't work for sofa's. I know they sell them at Bed Bath and Beyond and I'm sure other places as well. They aren't the most attractive things but a temporary fix so your sofa is higher during recovery. Or is it that your sofa is just too broken in and that what's troubling you?

If hubby changes his mind does the furniture store offer delivery......or maybe it's just more than you care to spend....

I'm sure not being able to get your swim in isn't helping as exercise can be a great stress releaser.

Wishing you a better day tomorrow!

Risers would be great @Layla trust me I looked into it all my sofa is an antique and 4 inches shorter than most sofas. It's like on wheels or canisters we can't take them off it falls off bricks.... hubby had to pick me up off the sofa for weeks MEGA pages back...only solution is that which was hell and risky or get a new sofa ...charge and delivered.... I will deal with it... I wasn't gonna say anything but needed to reply to GrannyC ... HUGE hugs
