Julie

As the others have said its good that there is a plan in place.

Even when the docs are doing their best for you (and I think they are) its is so frustrating to be passed from one to another.

Hang in there. You are in our thoughts.

Hi Julie, ditto Dave's remarks, frustration is such a difficult emotion, but you are strong. Hang in there xx

Julie, so sorry that there hasn't yet been a definitive answer for you. Everything crossed that the "action plan" that has been mooted brings better results.

Dave, Sandy and Cappy, thanks so much. I'm still waiting on the authorization for the MRI and hopefully that can be done in next couple of days or else everything in on hold again. I already had plans to be out of town from 25th - 29th so hopefully I will get a call today and that they have an opening either still today or tomorrow.

Last night I woke because the one knee was hurting so bad and then when I wake the back is just killing me. I will try though to keep a "happy" face on.

Hi Julie,

We accept happy or sad faces. - all welcome :)

You take care, you just need answers right now, they are coming.

Have a lovely break away :) lol, Sandy xx

Thanks Sandy,

Well I did get the call for MRI and go tomorrow at 12:45 and the doctors office told me to have them burn me a CD of it and then I have a re-check with the Neuro doc on Friday morning. Whew.......things are starting to work out. At least before the holiday I'll know what's going on and where I go next with things. It's another step in the process.

I am looking forward to the break away, your break sounded just wonderful out by the water. I was reading your post in CStreet's thread and yes your book would be a best seller and we all would read it for sure.

So happy to read you got your MRI appointment Julie. Fingers crossed you get some answers soon! Please let us know how it goes.

Hi Julie

That is fantastic news.... Progress finally.. I feel your pain and really hope that 2012 will bring a solution to it and you become pain free.

Take care, enjoy your break and I look forward to hearing positive news :) Sandy

Hi Julie

So sorry to hear about your set back, hopefully everything will settle very soon and you can focus on your recovery.
You relax Julie and let the healing begin. :console:

Well the doctors office called and had to cancel tomorrow's appt and now I can't see him for MRI results until 1/3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So then if it's something he wants to refer me for here we go again............So when I go in a little bit for the MRI I will ask them for the CD and when will they have report ready for me to pick up myself. If I at least get the report I will see what it has to say.

I knew it was flowing far to good with MRI today and follow-up tomorrow.

Hi Julie, I just hate those cancellations. It is very emotional, you finally get an appointment and you get mentally prepared for it, then suddenly the phone call comes with a cancellation.... And then one is back at square one, full of disappointment, in fact devastated! they don't have any idea of the emotional impact cancellations have on us.

Hubby just said to me that he thinks "hippies" are really strong, strong people!! He reckons it is because we live with pain 24/7 and just try to carry on and the others around only see our smiling faces and our true grit!

Hang in there Julie, get your MRI result and that might give you a clue, then have your break, relax if you can and then you will have your appointment on the 3rd..

Remember the new year is the start of new beginnings and this I wish for you, answers to your questions and above all solutions for you.

Sandy xx

Hang in there sweetie. At least you will have the MRI over with. Then you deal with the results after the New Year! Not much anyone could do right now anyway so enjoy your trip and forget about it.

2012 is going to be a good year for all of us I think! Better days are coming!

Thanks Sandy and Janet !!

Well I went and had MRI so check that's done. Got a copy of the CD, put it in my computer but don't know what the heck any of it means of course, but wanted to look at it. When I asked when the report would be ready so I could pick up, I was looked at in a strange way. I was told it's sent to the ordering doc. I said, yes I know that, but I also would like a copy for my records. She didn't say one way or another so tomorrow it should be ready and I will call and ask for a copy. It's my medical record and I have the right to it so they should give to me.

Sandy, yes I will now just try to enjoy my trip and not dwell on what I have no control of. Now that I'm not working I have more flexability to take meds so I don't hurt as much and hopefully can enjoy some time.

This is where we will stay in Savannah, GA a block off the water and it's a historic district. broken link removed: https://www.savannahhotel.com/gallery.html then on our way back we stop in St. Augustine, FL because my boyfriend has a client there and they pay for us a room which is a gorgeous place also in a historict district. broken link removed: https://www.casamonica.com/ So as you can see it will be some very lovely places to stay at. Each locations has tons of history and trolley's to go on and of course tons of walking. I WILL enjoy though no matter what.

Well I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and enjoy time with your family and friends.

xoxo
