All these surgery postponements and mine just got moved up by two hours. The patient scheduled for the earlier time slot came down with the flu! Stay well, fellow October Feisties. Avoid sick people and crowds, wash frequently and get your flu shots!

Glamg, fingers are crossed that everything gets straightened out in time for your surgery. I have really enjoyed "talking" with you in pre-op and look forward to seeing you in post-op.

Cowchick, I'm sorry to hear about your delay and can relate to your disappointment. Don't kick anything hard enough to injure yourself, then start getting psyched again for the 12th. See you on the other side too.

Well it's happened, surgery postponed to October 28th . After all of pre op testing done one of the Dr's decided I needed a cardiac stress test. So along with the insurance foul up now I have to go through this
Sorry @bottomshollow , my date needs to be changed.
Beyond frustrated!!

Ugh! So disappointing, @Glamg1979. I've seen this happen to many others, including myself. I hope you can find things to occupy your mind while you wait. It has really helped me to stay connected via this forum. So grateful for my Bonesmart buddies. Hang in there!

@ Glamg, I know you are disappointed to have such a long delay, but I'm glad your surgeon cares so much about your safety and well being that he/she is postponing until additional cardiac tests can be completed. In my small town 3 months ago a woman having a bilateral passed during surgery because of cardiac problems that had not been diagnosed during her pre-op testing. So take a breath and be glad that you had excellent pre-op testing and such a concerned surgeon. All your fellow Feisties will be waiting for you to join us.

just got my surgery pushed back to October 20th, due to an infection. guess I am glad they caught it before I went in thank goodness. no fun waiting another couple of weeks, but I am ok with it.
