Hi! If all goes well, I should be receiving a total hip replacement (not the anterior type) on Nov. 18. I've got some chronic health concerns which could complicate the procedure or even preclude it , so I hope I'm lucky when I see my orthopedic nurse pre-operatively and am checked out by my internist, etc. Nice to meet you!

Hope I'm doing this right. My first forum ever. I am having RTHR on November 21 if I don't chicken out by then. I put my own post under recovery instead of pre op because that is really where my greatest interest lies.

I am scheduled for L hip replacement 11/19. I am way too young to not be able to walk around the block comfortably with my 5 year old! BRING IT ON!!

I am new to the forum and have a surgery date of November 5th. I was so ready for this but now I'm getting pretty nervous. This will be my first-round THR with second in the near future.
