Revision TKR Story of My Knees by RestAssured: Pt 3

Sonja, YOU are a pip!!!! Okay let me see if I got this right. I am to do your PT with killer Katie with a showdown at 4:30 CST (booked my flight already), I am to finish writing the 2 major thesis papers and 1 reflection paper (keeping in mind that you have a 98.25 avg), now I saw above that you also have to do a leadership paper, am I responsible for that as well and if so will you give me all the material you have on that? I mean, I'm a pretty good leader, but if I'm to use your material I must proof read it first after all I have a reputation I must maintain!
Now getting back to the PT, I can handle that no sweat and your cover won't be blown!:thumb: As to the writing your 2 major thesis and 1 reflection paper and maintain your 98.25 avg, welllll, you won't mind a little drop in that will you, say 75.0 avg, after all you'll be enjoying other fun things and you'll still pass, right?.:heehee: As for the flight as stated above I have already booked it and will be there on time, I'm very punctual!:thumb:
If everything sounds acceptable just let me know and I will catch that flight lick-a-de-split! Can't wait to meet my twin sista! Love ya sis!

Glad to hear the test results were good! Now to get capsie to behave, and we will be doing good. And lucky for you, Jackie seems to be a great twin. She'll at least get you to pass. LOL Hugs!

Great news on the polyps!

What!!!! A 75 avg is the BEST you can do twinsee?????:thud: What in the heck are you planning on writing!:scary:I won't mind a small drop, say to a 98, but I do have standards to maintain!:heehee: Oh by the way in your picture you have short hair, you might need to put some extensions in, because Killer Katie knows that I will never have short hair again! That would be a dead giveaway. Can you make your kneecap pop out of place so she won't get suspicious. " Capsie" has been bad about that lately! Oh and don't mind the shock treatment at the first. It is meant for someone who is trying to get the muscle to come to life so it might be "a little uncomfortable"! Please don't scream, because I am so shy that you would have my cover blown for sure! Sister, you better start packing and getting those hair extensions in!:happydance:

Sonja, do you suppose that someone new on the forum reading only your thread would be sure that the inmates are running the asylum? Even I, one of the inmates, am beginning to have trouble keeping up with all the insane goings on here.

Listen sweet sister can I help it if mom gave YOU all the brains? Did you have to share everything with killer Katie, you don't give me much wiggle room here on the hair thingy, sis!:hairpulling: Capsie, Shmapsie you're making me jump throught huddles here trying to please my "new found" twin sista, but alright I'll do it just once and killer Katie better be a good listener or you may need to fine a new PT, she gets one pop of capsie and that's it! Sheesh, what one has to do for a twin sister! Shock treatment? Trust me sis, that can't be worse than the shock treatment I got from reading your reply after I nicely agreed to ease your mind and allow you to have fun while I take over all your hard work and save your butt! But okay I'll let it slide this time since we are, after all, meeting for the first time! :friends: I got my hair extensions, I hope you like a lot of colors cause I found some feather extensions and they looked so nice on me!:heehee: See you soon, off to catch my flight!:bicycle1:

Well I hope you make it quick! You have 25 more minutes to get here! You know I might cut you a little slack on the paper writing. I have some very good ideas for one, and I would hate to waste them, so you only have two papers to write! I am the sweetest sister you could ever hope for, aren't I?!:happydance:

Sonja asked me to post for her. She had the procedure done and they found several stomach polyps. They removed them and sent them for biopsy and she should have results on Thursday. She was feeling nauseous on the way home in the car and could not wait to go to bed. Please pray for her! Thanks
Prayers on the wing, Sonja! So glad to hear that the news is good, so here's one from my religious tradition, a translation of the Mi Sheberach prayer for healing and renewal:
Lord God of our Fathers and Mothers, Source of all strength and healing of the mind, body and spirit of all creation, who blessed those who came before us: help Sonja and us to make her and our lives a blessing; bless her with the renewal of body and of spirit; and let us say Amen.

Oh, my dear sister Sonja capsies are not a problem on this forum! They are a very painful occurrence and I don't wish it on anyone especially my "new found" twin sister! Okay, okay nothing below 90 is doable since I'm a high achiever myself, we're twins after all. :friends:

I met killer Katie and she had no clue that I wasn't you! What a sweetie! :thumb: Don't abuse her too much when she is back to taking care of you. She told me that she didn't like it when she was beat with that "crutch", she had no idea that I was not you. Please ease up on that!

My feather extension didn't faze her so she must know you really well! :rotfl:

Can't wait to meet you tonight for the first time. And yes, You are the sweetest sister ever! :spin:

Well, if you were there, then why was I there??? Hate to tell you but I am past 90,so Katie might have suspected something! Wait a minute! We're you the one behind the curtain giggling because they were on to my game? I had to down a size in pants on the treadmill, (that makes 2 sizes now) because they are too big! :happydance: Anyway, everyone was "busy" so I took it upon myself to see what it would feel like to walk at 20% of my weight! I was literally walking on air! Katie caught me and put it back to 50% of my body weight. :heehee:

Great news! Did they say what caused the poylps? What do you have to do about the knee cap?
The polyps are caused in large part to heredity. My grandfather, father, uncle, 2 aunts have all had cancer, so my doctor has already been keeping an eye on me.

My sister has had polyps removed also. We just have to be vigilant,

My knee is doing well. If I could get the darned kneecap, more affectionately known as "Capsie" to cooperate, I wouldbe great! :happydance:

Hi Sonja - Sorry i've been AWOL- I was so excited about your great news :yay::yay: that I have been out all day hunting for gold gavels... but they're all out of stock. Maybe they have them in ski country - BJ can just add it to her shopping list ...
Meanwhile I have an idea for our first Capsies Club project. After a day like I had today:groan: :hairpulling: ... I think we should build a special Bone Smart Clubhouse - with padded walls and floors and lots of things to throw and punch -and it has to be soundproof, of course so we can scream and yell - before we move on to our spa...What do you think ?

I think that sounds like a lovely idea Randi! We could use my swim spa also if you would like! Of course we would have to go to the place that sold it to us! It has only been there for 6 years now..... When we tear down the old fence to put up a new we will move it in! Uh huh! :gaah: Still waiting.........

Dear sis, I was there but you guys started early and you seemed to have so much fun, oh and by the way congrats on being past 90,:yahoo: and down two sizes!:thumb: That Kate is a killer isn't she, putting it back up to 50% of your body weight! Like I said it looked like you were having so much fun that I didn't want to come out of hiding and ruin it for you. I thought you were doing great so I hopped on the next flight back home. Sorry I missed you, but hopefully we will meet in the future. I will be watching out for you though, and good luck with your papers since now I know you will be fine and able to handle it all.
Stay well my dear sis, and I look forward to reading more of your journey!:friends:

WOW & WOW again!

Boy, ho, boy, Sonja---have you got the power or what? Everybody wants to do your bidding. And I repeat, I would fear the lady with the gavel.

I posted over on Randi's but I should include the situation here also,

When Dr. Maale extended my PT, he instructed them to include lymph edema treatments also. He is worried that I have torn the stitches loose from when I heard that loud pop in rehab! He told me at the time he would not go back into surgery, hence the immobilizer brace that I wore for so long.

To be quite honest, I have had enough and I know that there is a strong possibility that the only thing we are accomplishing in PT right now, is getting the inside muscles strengthened so it will be easier to rebound from another surgery!
