That is great news. Now for the challenging part: recovering. However, you'll be recovering with the assurance of much better prospects for a pain free and functional life.

Hello Everyone!

God has blessed me so richly! My friends at church and I had prayed that the MRSA would be gone, and when Dr. Maale did his testing everything was negative! The sticky biofilm on the implant had disappeared, and all that remained was a shiny knee!:prayer1::prayer1::prayer1::prayer1:

The quad had to be shortened a little, and he did debridement, and extensive washout of bone fragments, and old 1(previously diseased) tissue. Dr. Maale told my husband and Mom that he was extremely pleased with the outcome and that the new HK fit beautifully!

Thank you Lord for a blessing that wasn't humanly possible! I am so humbled!:cry4:

Sonja, been looking out for your post that you are through the op, and there you were. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! So glad that the op part is over and you are well and sounding so positive already. You will have the best aftercare knowing that the great Dr. Maale will be watching over you too.

Get plenty of rest, and look forward to hearing more about your recovery when you are ready.

Love to you

Just off to bed, and checking in to see whats happening, and I really hope that you get to inpatient rehab tomorrow, or it may be today for you, and just to hear you being so cheerful is a real blessing.

Your knee sounds as though its making great progress already, and the MRSA gone is a double blessing, but you so deserve it, and the best recovery too.

Take care today and rest up. :friends:

Hello Everyone!

Let me let you in on a little secret:secretaea: I am tired. I have had family in here all day, put up with an incompentent nurse last night that would not give me pain meds according to schedule, and one today who stiil has out the MRSA banners like I am wearing a big M on my chest. Other than that, I feel pretty good, just sore!:th_heehee:
