I just need to read your posts when I am having a pity party for me. Hope you get some answers and relief. Thoughts and prayers for you tomorrow.
Vicki,
We all have our pity party days! That's just part of being human. You, my friend, have been through a lot recently, and I am so proud of the way you have handled it!
Yes, I imagine you experienced fear before (diagnoses or dx) shock (after diagnoses) and a sense of loss. I know I did. After the 2nd round on my knee, the home PT had to literally plead with me to get out of bed! I didn't care anymore, and I hurt so bad that I didn't want to get up. Amy changed my perspective in a hurry when she started crying! We went for a walk outside and she told me that she believed in me and refused to let me give up. That was my turning point. So Vicki, I haven't been always "chipper" some days are harder than others.
I rely on God to get me through the tough times and the friends on BoneSmart, and in person.
