Hello, "ok is my microphone on?". I have some very exciting news and I think everyone may hear me scream!
No, did not win lottery; something much better!
I did my usual treadmill time up until 15 minutes and Katie told me that another lady needed it. I have been doing 20 at 3 mph! Anyway, Katie said "we need more cardio" so I have an idea! We went out to the bike which I haven't used since before surgery! Anyway, I had no problems getting my heart rate up by making those pedals fly!
My problem still rests in the side of the knee but today it tingled after the muscle stimulation! First time I have actually felt it! I am one happy camper with the progress I have made!
God has been so good to me!![]()

Well, I lost a few pounds in the hospital, gained them plus some in rehab, and the last 2 weeks well lost some but not the way I would suggest! So all in all, lost about 5 pounds. I am going to get serious again though, because I am back to feeling great! I will have the EGD on Monday, to find out why I am having all the tummy problems. Zofran is holding it down, but something has revved up my appetite in the last three days so I had better get to the store to get some veggies before I start chewing on the baseboards! That is great Sonja, glad you could get that heart pumping strong again. How are you doing on your weight loss now? Did having surgery slow it down, or stop it, or even make you gain? I am wondering what will happen to me after losing 70 pounds in 7 months, and now this last month I am just hanging there. But that isn't bad, I am around my goal weight. I would like to lose a few more, but you know, never rich enough, or thin enough.....![]()

Jacky, Randall reads this thread, and wouldn't you know he was the first one to volunteer to give a generous donation to the "Ski Bunnie's" retreat! What a man! I told him just for that I was adding his wife to our list!Excellent Sonja! Good going!
Oh by the way could you let Randall know that we are not going to be manless at the ski lodge. We are going to be pampered by the Chippendales right? This may be a deal breaker for me since we are going to need someone to take care of our
KNEE-DS! He was also wondering what the men would do without their wives for a whole month. You can also let him know that they will figure it out once they fall asleep!
Let us know when the luncheon to drum up some money will be and maybe I can get some of the husbands on board to share some of their funds to make their wives happy!
Again stay well and congrats on your progress!![]()

So get the veggies and we'll hang tight until you give us some good news!

All the kneecap feels like doing is sliding to the outside of the knee! I am getting more and more agitated with it! In less than two weeks, I am supposed to travel w my hubby to Wyoming,a 14 hour trip we will break into two days! At this rate, my knee can't do seven let alone two!

So it might be difficult for me to find a job. I am proud though, I have a 98.25 average this semester, and am maintaining an A average overall!
I marvel at that with everything else you're dealing with. hats off!I am proud though, I have a 98.25 average this semester, and am maintaining an A average overall!![]()
